Hey Trav, I just thought of something...
My buddy has a bronco that I've been stealing parts off of... ie tailgate, a door, the rear end.... Its got some rust but I think it may be "decent" I can find out how much he'll want for it if you'd like, it might not be in good enough shape though... Call me if you want me to look into it

yea thats for sure. David did you want to go ahead and finish the basket? even if i cant use it I may be able to sell it for what i have into the materials but that to is undecided because if i chop the top then im gonna have to have some sort of cage put in which would give a mounting pount for the rack/basket again. Im gonna do some photo shop work on some pics to get some ideas. the insurance company is out of the picture to so the bko isnt considered totaled (YES!).

I'll go ahead and do that, as time allows. Also, give thought to the mentioned cab swaps, too. With you helping me, we can definitely build a more-than-adequate tube bed for it, as well as being able to incorporate the basket to it

Sorry to hear that you wrecked it. Are you going to part this one out or keep it?
