I'm in need of an open D80 carrier asap for a F450 truck. The cross shaft bolt came out and the cross shaft has opened the end of the hole for the cross shaft so I would like to install a new/used carrier before we loose the axle all together.

I called the ford dealer and the carrier has to be from what he said would be a stripped chassis which makes sense seeing how this is a tow truck and the rear chassis/bed would be missing when bought new. The part number from the carrier comes up as a 1996 part number or the guy at ford said it did.

Thanks John. Just wanted to let you know I ordered the carrier from Mike. It was cheaper than the Ford price even with our so called discount. I plan on calling him first for any other future needs. :thumbup

Now I just need to find the time to down the truck before it completely fails. I think my weld has finaly let go.
