Curious as to what some of you guy's are payin for steel. I've got a supplier that has 1 1/2 x .120 DOM tubing for 4.15/ft for min of 20feet or 3.10/ft for 40 feet and 2 x 6 x 3/16 rectangular stock for 7.52/ft min order of 24feet. The prices sound fair but there aren't alot of suppliers around me without large minumum orders.

Last time I checked here (just before Christmas), 1.75 X .120 HREW was $2.67/ft up to 100 feet, 100 feet and over dropped to $2.14/foot, next price break was 520 feet.

That's why I wasn't sure how good the price was alot of the local places had min. orders by foot and it was like 100 feet. I'll never use that much steel so I didn't bother getting prices. One place had a min. order of $1000 :doh0715: I was just like "thank you have a nice day; click"

The one near me has a minimum of $2.00 (they charge you $2.00 no matter how short) Another one I bought 1 foot of 1" poopo pipe and it was like .61 cents IIRC.
