I still havent gotten her inspected. I just agreed to buy a set of fender flares for Kenny (on FSB) to cover the rust on the fenders, and then I ordered some replacement body trim, which I am going to use to cover the rust on the tailgate.

I know I could just fix it right, but I want to drive the truck for a little while, and decide if it's reliable enough to invest that sort of time.

I went driving down my road last night. With the rain, all 3 bridges on my little gravel road were flooded again. It was fun to drive though water that covered the tops of my tires. But I still need to get her off road. Still working on that inspection though.

Anyway, 93BroncoXLT, do you think there's anything we can do to get that girl to jump a little higher? :beer

smokinjoestein
12-15-2003, 01:32 PM
I would'nt wheel what is known as yellowgates in crofton off of Rt.301 & Rt.424. The Maryland Mudbugs used to wheel back here but a land development company purchased the land is having the police go back there and search for tresspassers. It actually is a funny story, I was back there on my trail bike and a stock cherokee with his lights on chasing every-body out. It was funny because the police officier driving the jeep obvioulsy never wheeled before because he ripped is front and rear bumber right off on a fast paced off camber flying. It was quite funny if you were there. Well I'm lookin for a new place to bring the Bronco and the trail bike now. Let me know if any of you local boys find anything to wheel on. I'll do the same.

That was back where all those little dirt piles and potholes were, way back in the trails on the parks and planning side... are you talking about under the bridge? Once over (under) the bridge it's Parks and Planning, no Bowie state anymore. Or are you talking about the first part right past the motocross track thing? The trails stay shollow enough to go through in my truck (2" lift and 33's) all the way back to the river (or the RR tracks, depending which trail you take) My buddy's F-250 (5" lift, dinky little 285/75/16 A/T's) runs through that stuff all day long. Just make sure and change your diff fluid every oil change, as a precaution

Hate to say it but quad ave isn't legal...had a few friends run out of there a time or two. But I think that was because of all the stolen vehicals that wind up back there.

Been wanting to hit it up again early on morning on a weekend for a few hours. 6-9ish....get in and get out.

oh yes there are many stolen cars and trucks thay have gotten stuck then flipped and burned there

also the ring is pretty fun, some cars back there still run.........

Soft top, roll bar, interior destruction, but as money and time allow I plan on a SAS and a lift with some real big boy tires on her. Right now she sits on 31's. I'll get some pics up as soon as I can. Good to meet you all.

LOL..yes, we have team meetings. They look like this:

1. {insert team member's name here} shows up to raid {insert other team members name here} pile of parts and part vehicles..stays and drinks a case of beer.
2. Whole team gets together to butcher 10 hogs. MANY cases of beer disappear.

We're planning a Rausch Creek trip soon and we'll all definitely be hitting Big Dogs Ice Breaker event..I'll keep ya posted. Otherwise, yr more than welcome to cut cross the county and pay a visit to the compound.

Balt area here. Harford County. Greenridge State Park in Allegheny County allows trucks and atv's on their trails. It's cool there. Assateague is always cool too. The Pocomoke River State Forest in Snow Hill only allows 4 wheeler atv's. No street 4x4's.

The junkyards have been packed with cash 4 clunkers cars and trucks. At the crazy rays in mt airy theres a Bronco there with a procomp lift kit. I didnt go over the tuck to much but it all looks pretty decent. Just a heads up
