I had kinda been tossing out the idea of another lil meet and greet thing like we did with Blaze and Smooth and I, at like Taco Mac or something. Now with the influx of Georgia boys, I think we'd be too crowded at Taco Mac. So I had thought about 3$ Cafe because they're always accomodating with another group I hang out with.

THEN I thought...what about a cookout? There's a cool spot on the Etowah River, just below the Allatoona dam. There's covered areas and some large parking lots. We could get some cool group pics.

Just something I had thought about on my way to dialysis this morning and thought I'd toss it out there for you guys. If we do it soon like the first of October it should still be warm enough to be comfortable outside. We could all pitch in and bring different food items.

Only thing we'd have at a restaurant that we couldn't have at the park is beer.

I think it would be pretty cool, do you think their would be a couple weeks notice? I would love to meet more of my fellow Dixie bretheren (if I would be allowed since I ain't GA boy :brownbag ;) ) But I would need notice to get the weekend off of work. Again cool idea :beer :beer

You can put Astra and I down for participation. The only thing for us is we can't make it October 16, 17, 18. We have a wedding to go to. Any other time in October we are in. Maybe Blaze and I can cordinate a hunting trip into this. NEways, let us know what we need to do.

Oh and BroncoBabe I think we definitely need to go somewhere we can move around and talk with everyone (A restaurant would be great but I don't we would be able to move very much. I know of a place that has a room that we can use. I will call to see if we can hold it. You don't pay to rent it either.

Hey that's about 4 hours away from here! Maybe me and HWY Apostle could cruise down together. Let me check with da wifie and see. Remember she is pregnant and due in November! Will let ya know.

Can ya camp at this place? I would probably have to drive down and then maybe camp over night and drive home the next day.

That would work, if we could do something like that inside then we wouldn't have to worry about the weather.

I'm sorry I meant October 25th that is a Saturday. I have called and they do have the room open I just need to know how many people are going to attend? Also what time do we want to meet there? Do you want to post a new thread in the Dixie Chapter and see if anyone wants to attend. THe place is called Delkwood Grill and it is off Delk Rd in Marietta, it is about a mile off of the highway. It is like a Pub. Let me know what you think.
