heh i would be willing to go with my bronc but i just had it taken back to the trans shop to see what they goofed up. i have hoped to lift it very soon too, just searching around for a lift (rather not pay 1500 for everything i need new)

Plenty of things to do without a lift...

Yeah I agree with stoked. Where I live most trails are pretty rutted and the trees and slick clay make them hard to straddle, and my trailer hitch isn't to happy with my driving. Plus my mommy gets mad when I get it dirty.

That's what it's there to do. the most wheeling fun I had was in a bone stock 88. I beat the weasle piss out of it and it's still going strong, just for someone else.

Anyway, have a blast, too far of a road trip for me.

Very F'in cool! :thumbup Did you show Alvie how much your sliders saved you, even despite the rash yours got? Is that Erik's old rear bumper that I see on Tony's rig? Hugh's pretty trusting of his hardtop, with the tire up there, isn't he?

Amazing what a fresh coat of paint will do......here's how I utilized one piece of the old carrier.... http://www.superford.org/registry/vehicles/index.php?vID=1096

Now, I've heard you're pretty good at front bumpers, my old Warn could use an...."update":drinkbud

I hope you're not in a big hurry... I've still got more orders to handle first, including Alvie, but I can certainly squeeze you in - ooh, that just reads so dirty! :hump Email me sometime - davids78bronco@hotmail.com - and let me know what you're thinking about for the 'update'

I would like to get involved in adapting the "skinny" to the 78...gotta be willing to notch that 78 grille tho..

I still need to figure out why I have only "1 wheel drive" up front :shrug As far as notching the grille, I'd actually like to utilize the current winch mount, which wouldn't neccessitate notching the grille. As far as design, I'm waiting for Crazed to have one of his "paote" visions:wacko Sorry Crazed, here's a big :hug Anyways, rear D60, front 44HD, rebuild 460, MAYBE a soft top, 1-ton brake upgrade, rock lights.... phew!!! The bumper is way down on the list, but thanks for the offer. I'll let you know when I'm ready.

Looks like great fun Tim....

How did you like the new motor towing the equipment and while running the trails? Im sure it made a nice difference...

Crazed
11-14-2003, 01:43 PM
New engine is great!! Never even noticed the 1200 lbs of trailer back there..had to keep reminding myself to slow down...(caught up with Mike and Tony on the way)

As far as on the trail...it has all the power it would ever need for the trails that I do.
