You guys are right, 38 inch tires look alot better that 20 inch rims. Especially with a rusted out tailgate, plastic bag for a back window and an Oakridge Boys bumper sticker holding it on......... Some people actually like the way their truck looks, although 20s or 22s are to the extreme not everybody likes driving in mud either.

Sorry to revive an old thread...
But how did this guy get rid of the "hubs" on the front? This doesn't look photochopped or anything.

I am asking because I would like to do a set if wheels that are smooth like that - kind of like the Centerline series.

:beer

blueoval78
02-21-2004, 07:49 PM
they might be meant for a 4wd so the hub is inder the center cap

kind of hope that he has auto hubs, not that he even uses the 4wd but im willing to be for some reason that there are manulas under there

Fireguy50
02-21-2004, 08:06 PM
I'm 90% sure it's bee converted to 2WD to fit them rims

anything better than an 18 or 20 wouldn't look right on a bronco.

And at that - you have to be careful which style you pick - because MANY won't look too hot on a Bronco.

Not everyone need a 4x4 monster truck. Not everyone goes off-roading. Most bronco i see never see any off pavement. They were bought like any other truck. That was made to drive people from A to B. I like the looks of the bronco's with bigger wheels. maybe not 22's but 18's or 20's look good. i mean at least it isnt a honda civic.
I would drive this Bronco in a heart beat. has a 2wd lightning conversion under it. Lightning motor. so it would make a nice street truck.

Thats makes me want to slap a biotch....What a waste of a bronco...not the lightning conversion but the other one.Hey guys no shit there is a guy running around town here with a h2 6 inch lift and here's the best part....24's and some of the new nitto off road tires.....looks like some sort of hybrid wanna be ricer wheeler thing.....the same h2 was lowered so i guess I was glad to see it lifted......the guy owns a custom shop that does nothing but ricers so.....what the hell

Bill@setel.com
02-21-2004, 11:39 PM
I don't think it looks that bad...I don't like the wheels...but if the style was different. If the guy just uses it as a DD and maybe hits the beach or something good for him - he's the got the look he wants and the performance he wants whether it be on or off road.

My point, as someone said on here...we all buid our Broncos to fit our needs/wants. Maybe this is what this guy wanted. I want to do something in the middle...big wheels and big tires with a SAS and so on.

I want to do a trail rig on dubs...as long as it looks good and performs even better - more power to ya'. Personally, I would keep my stock wheels with 33s on it for Winter or just to have when needed.

That Bronco defeats the purpose of having a 4x4. Whoever owns that truck is probably a wigger fag who has never even driven on a gravel road. The only thing that Bronco is probably used for is driving around on city streets
and annoying citizens with his F-uckin rap that can be heard blasting out of that truck from 6 miles away. It probably also has several TVs in it so that he can get in an accident due to not paying attention to the road.

to each his own. i saw a sweet 2wd blazer that was lowered and stiffened up and also had a supercharger. out ran a 5 series beemer and beat it in a slalom run too. if i had two broncos, i might pimp the new one out. that lightning kit is sweet. like any of us should care what someone does to their vehicle. just sit back and laugh. you want to see something funny? i was at the auto parts store and this was in the lot...

axaviere
02-23-2004, 01:41 AM
they should have. they offered puck ups in 2wd & the 2wd blazer was offered. who knows why they didnt? does it matter? if that kid hadnt dont that to his truck, we couldnt have this thread to talk about it either way. its like this gay marriage deal. who cares? why should they not have to suffer a messy divorce like straights? if i were gay i might care. but im not and i dont. let the wigger rice his ride. i do laugh at the bass boomers though. i dont wonder why they are brain dead with that booming bass rattling their brains in that closed space.

Well, I think Mr. Bob Chandler, might disagree with you.. These are a few inches biiger than 20" and they work pretty well off road.

i agree that anything over 18-20" is stupid. but this reminds me of my alltime favorite set-up. i saw a truck on e-bay that was rolling boggers on gold dayton rims. it was horrible. i almost had nightmares.

BigBroncoXLT
11-08-2005, 02:33 AM
Id wrap a 44" bogger around a 22" rim...Might look ok. but then again, why does a truck (up to 1 ton )need anything bigger than a 16.5 wheel?

-Spazmatic-
11-08-2005, 10:29 AM
Plus, if you plan to go wheeling, why would you waste your money on pretty little rims that will get banged up anyway?

I've seen the gray and maroon one. He used to live in my town. And he did have the loud stereo. I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure that pic was taken at a car show they have at the park every year. He was there for the sound-off. Check the MECA sticker on the windsheild.
