I just got off the phone with my brother in Hampton Roads (above VA Beach) his rental house had 2 and 1/2 feet of water in it, my dad's house had several inches of water in it and 3 to 4 feet of water in the garage (where he keeps his unrestored, unmovable 61 Mercedes 190SL convertable). He lost is dock, completely, lost one of his boats, completely. He has many down trees. My Brother has a house he rents that had 2 1/2 FEET of water in it.
I will most likely be coming up that way to help everyone get things straighten out so if anyone in the area wants to meet I'll be around, but I'm sure ya'll will be busy, as will I.

lost power. i hate that. i also ran at my FD and we got hammered there. roughly 40 calls in 5 hours. to top it off we had a structure fire(house fully involved) the day after about 20 min after waking up(12:00pm) then after that we got hit for another string of 10 calls. then i finnaly took off cause i was beat. i started (and finished) the project on my truck. new axleshafts so my 4wd is good to go. other than all that my week-end was just peachy.

We had alot of rain and some pretty bad winds, lost power for about 3 hrs. I got a friend that lives in carolina Beach, near wilmington NC. he stayed at his house, had minimal damage, but never lost his power. and had I little flooding in his downstairs rooms. Overall he was in good shape.
