BeaterBronco 09-29-2003, 08:43 AM Anybody in the Littleton/Highlands Ranch, CO area? I would like to take a look at some other rigs to see what kind of mods they would recomend. Also, if anybody in the area needs help with any work, or would be willing to help me find/ sell their old/ install axles and do some brake work, i would be very happy! let me know via e-mail!

Why did you sell the bronco? Man I feel outa place cause I'm up north. Not as far as bob but still north in broomfield.
firegod33 10-02-2003, 07:14 PM The Bronco needed more work than I could afford to do. :( The 32 gallon tank was killing me, as well. I hope by next summer, I'll be in good enough shape to get another one.
Yeah mines killin me cause I can't drive it.:D :D :D :duh
Well good luck on the search.
BeaterBronco 10-03-2003, 02:13 AM hehe, my 32 gallon has a hole in it right now... i hafta take it out and throw in either a new one or jb weld the old one back together before it will be drivable again...

I'd be up for a little get together to meet some of the other FSB locals. Do we want to do something centralized so we can maybe get some of the Ft Collins and Springs guys? :beer
I like that idea. what would be central, like 6th ave and i-25 area?
k1w1t1m 02-02-2004, 07:30 PM Sounds good.

Sounds good, a little bit East from most of us talking, but it would be right off I-25 for any North or South people. Don't know that area at all, so what is around there to meet at? Isn't that the Lowry area?
:shrug
Dangling_Dave 02-03-2004, 02:54 PM Hmmm, I-25, hey what is the name of that restraunt/bar just north of the Bronco's stadium? The one up on that hill? Molly McGee's or something like that, it would be central if not we could pick something off of I-70 west.
dc
I would be down to meet up as long as i dont have to drive for cause my bronc uses more oil than gas.
Dangling_Dave 02-04-2004, 04:57 PM Ahh, the name of the bar is:
Baby Doe Matchless Mine
2520 W 23 Av
DENVER, CO 80211 - 4824
(303) 433-3386
It is off of 23rd by the football stadium. Anyone want to pick a different place, date, time etc...
dc
94bronco 02-04-2004, 11:21 PM post a place and time with a few weeks notice and I'll make it.
:beer
How about Sun Feb 29 @ 3PM
Baby Doe Matchless Mine
2520 W 23 Av
DENVER, CO 80211 - 4824
(303) 433-3386
It is off of 23rd by the football stadium. About as central as I can think of...
3 1/2 weeks out - think we can get some people to show? If not is there a better day?

Sounds good. Leap day, we could have one of these meetings every leap day, see you guys in another 4 years :)
We should get a head count so we can book a space at the restraunt. Should we do that off line or on this post?

Rick3373 02-09-2004, 01:27 AM I could be interested. How about some place less spendy? Baby Doe's is kind of expensive for me, plus they don't really have a very good parking lot. A Sonic or some other fast food place would be good, or even Hooters or Old Chicago. Just keep it away from downtown so we can have some room to park & not have to spend too much money.

Hooters would be great, is there one central to this mess of a city we live in?
dc
There's a Hooter's at 6th and Kipling....
Hooters Restaurant Denver
695 Kipling
LAKEWOOD, CO
(303) 205-1170
It's by the old Villa Italia Mall. Easiest way for our North or South members would be to take the 6th Avenue exit from I-70, and then east on 6th to Kipling. Parking should be ok.
Other Hooters are either closer to downtown or in Aurora.
This sound better to everyone? :chili:

Actually, it is at 6th and Kipling near the Federal Center.... I haven't been to Villa Italia in about 4 years (course, neither has anyone else which is why they are tearing it down and building a new mall).
Anyway - best option for non-metro people is going to be:
from the south up 470 west, to I70, 6th Ave exit east.
from the north down I-25 to mousetrap, to I-70 west, 6th Ave exit east.
for Metro guys, either Kipling or 6th straight through.... I'm coming from Littleton, so I take 285 to Kipling north to 6th.
Hope we can get a decent turn-out! :beer
Rick3373 02-10-2004, 03:19 PM That is a much better location. I'll try to attend this one.
Maybe a new thread announcing a M&G would be a good idea.
