View Full Version : *New Vendor* Off-Road Contols - switch panels
Hello all. We're a new company supplying the off-road community with switch panels and power distribution kits. Although we are still working on the power distribution kits, we do have several switch panel configurations available at www.offroadcontrols.com (http://www.offroadcontrols.com).
We are in the process of designing new panels so check the New Products (http://www.offroadcontrols.com/orcnp.htm) link often to see what will be available soon.
More importantly, we would like to hear from you. Please tell us what you would like to see in a switch panel and also feel free to provide feedback on our existing panels.
We look forward to providing you with quality switch panels, reliable Carling toggle switches, and power distribution kits.
Davids78Bronco 06-28-2006, 10:36 PM I like your three switch panels, but would to see them accomodate the toggle switch covers. Myself, I wouldn't mind having a Pull ON/Push OFF pushbutton switch, with a DPST and a SPST toggle switches, both with covers, to be used as Master Power/Ignition Power/Ignition Start... master power being the pushbutton switch
knowwhatImean? I like the site tho... I'm keeping that in mind, when I can get around to re-wiring my wheeler bronco
I'd also like to see ww.fullsizebronco.com in your 4x4 Sites link, but I'm also being biased
DvlRacer 06-28-2006, 10:40 PM Great site, will be doing business with ya'll soon hopefully. Oh, and BTW, the catalog link on the left on the homepage doesn't work :shrug.
Good luck with the new company :thumbup
Edit: forgot ya'll are new, probably just haven't got around to the catalog yet.

All panels shown on the Product (http://www.offroadcontrols.com/orcsp.htm) page can accomodate toggle switch covers. The next line of panels I plan to release within two weeks shown on the New Product (http://www.offroadcontrols.com/orcnp.htm) page are a little shorter in height and cannot accomodate toggle switch covers.
FSB logo is on the front page under the 'Off-Road Controls Proudly Sponsors' heading, but no reason why I cant add it to the 4x4 Sites page just incase others miss it.;)
I'll see what I can come up with for your panel request.
those are some sweet switches.
might have to order some
Davids78Bronco 06-29-2006, 01:13 AM oh, there's no hurry, on my account... It'll be some time before I rewire my truck anyway, but I do appreciate the effort. I'll be checkin in, now and then, and see how it progresses
Bonzai 07-04-2006, 02:14 AM Just a wheeling noob wondering, what do you exactly use the switches for?
Iolaus 07-04-2006, 02:21 AM Just a wheeling noob wondering, what do you exactly use the switches for?Any after-market accessories that you might add that need an on/off switch - mostly lights.

Just like iolaus said, any after-market accessory.
I should have in-cab winch panels ready for sale soon complete with toggle switch cover and LED's for ON & overheat indicators.
Dave's Bronc 90 07-09-2006, 06:29 PM I just took a look at you website, it looks like you have some cool products there. I was wondering though, the only switch I saw listed was a SPST on/off switch. Thats great for a lot of stuff, but is it the only switch you sell? No momentarys or on-off-on switchs for winch or fan controls? If you can come up with the right switches I'll definitely buy a panel for winch control.

I was supposed to receive momentary on-off-on switches last week for winch control from Carling Technologies but they have not come in. Hopefully I'll have them ready by mid or late week.
I'll post a notice when I have them. I will also price my winch control panels at a very competative price! For a two switch panel with indicators you wont have to pay more than $20.00.

Dont forget to check out the antique section :thumbup
That sounds great. The prices some folks charge for these things is unbelievable.
Ralphenstein 07-10-2006, 04:34 PM Sweet website!
...prices look right on! Best of luck! I am coming to you guys when I get some lights!
Ever look at becoming an authorized dealer for PIAA, KC or Hella? I bet you guys could do tons of light business through your switch purchases!
Hell, sell winches too.
But then you would just be another online parts seller....

Not a bad idea but right now I have my hands full as it is.:thumbup

89BroncoNut 08-11-2006, 09:52 AM I sent Off-Road Controls an email on Saturday to ask a question about wiring details to replace my old switches with theirs. Had a reply back in 25 minutes. I placed the order Monday afternoon and received the switches and panel on Thursday.
Great customer service. Very happy with the quality of their product. Can't wait to complete the install.
AC's_Bronco 08-27-2006, 09:19 PM Great site and your products look like well built American electronics. A recommendation though......

For a little extra, I think that u guys should figure out how to write whatever the customer wants bellow or on the toggle switch covers (just like the pic on your site). Good luck and I will most certainly use one of your products in the future.

Thanks! We are currently looking at silkscreening text on the panels. We will also release new panels within the next week. One of which will be a 2" gauge panel with switch and indicator.
AC's_Bronco 08-27-2006, 09:42 PM :shocked Holy Crap you are fast!!!! As for the comment, sweet!
As I said before, good luck and thanks for a reply.

ScottMoore 08-30-2006, 10:51 PM I really like your panels. I personally like the clean look. When I get me some lights on my truck you will have my business.
I really like this one I saw on your site.

This would be perfect with some leds to show when they are on (at night it would be obvious but not during the day).
Oh yes, your prices are great!!!!!

Why not just include a sheet of generic stickers with the most common things like "lights", "compressor", "F. Locker, R. Locker" etc etc etc????
Seems easier then silkscreening each panel.

Decals are on the list as well. The silk screening is an option for the most popular uses such as lockers and winch control panels. I hope to have something released within the next few weeks.
We just released a new batch of panels! One of which can accomodate a 2" gauge and comes complete with an on/off switch & LED indicator. Perfect for an air gauge and on/off compressor switch.

Our other new panels are a little shorter in height and perfect for dashboards with limited space. You can find all new panels here:
