I remember back early last summer on the old hangout, before the rebellion, that we (all of us) had contributed mass amounts of technical and valuable info. There was just mounds of information, i posted all the wiring diagrams and pics about installing alarms, color codes, etc. There were articles about sway bar disconnects, etc. Can we maybe dish out some tasks to members/moderators to spend a bit of time creating these informative articles again? I met a fellow bronco owner today and i was telling him about the site, and all the info he could find here. And then i thought, well all that was lost (kinda). So, maybe some of us can take on some homework and write up some goods on mods and installs. I know that most everyone on here can take on like one subject and build an article of their choosing. Just to jump-start the info engine. More content!

Examples,

Top removal, (seems remedial to some, but others have questions)
Lift installs,
On board air from broncoair,
SAS (some are in progress now)
Hubs (manual conversion)

etc.

I think alot of bronco owners feel more comforatable looking at existing information than asking questions, they feel like newbies and just dont ask. Alot of the info on this site wont ever be found in a chiltons manual.

Anyone else wanna toss in their 2 pennies on this?

well i think we have a good start in the tech write up/install forums, http://www.fullsizebronco.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=17 there seems to be quite a bit there already in a short time, are you talking about collecting all this and having seperate pages on the site, that is not part of the forum? we could do that i think

Just more topics. drive more content in one area with navigation. Using categories,
There is a fair amount of info on the Install area, just so they
are more easily accecable to locate a topic of interest. Not in place of the Install writeup area, only in addition too. Something like a nav bar with links to category areas, categories like this:

Categories
Electrical:
sub-cat: Here is my stereo install
sub-cat: felixs dual batteries
sub-cat: etc.

Brakes
sub-cat: rear disc conversion
sub-cat: front caliper re-build

Steering

sub-cat: I broke something
sub-cat: I have no steering

Front Axle
sub-cat: Manual hub conversion
sub-cat: Check out my pimp SAS!
etc.

Rear Axle
sub-cat: 10.25 sterling swap

Or it could be a pain in the a55 and take too much time.
But, still try to get more info in that area, and steer newcomers to that area.

I am not banned yet. I know how to copy/paste what do we want? We put it there in the first place.
