where to find vin on frame?

hey guys,, i was wondering if any knew where the vin is located on the frame of a 79 bronco? thanks

I've never checked for myself, yet, but I kept reading about it being on top, under the passenger seating area :shrug

It is on the passenger side top frame rail just a few inches in front of the front cab mount. Scrub hard and the VIN will appear.

FYI, On a pickup truck there is originally a tag on the passenger side front of the inside bed in the lower corner.

I just picked up a 78 f150 and there's a tag under the hood on the passenger side firewall. Up near the top.

well see the reason i need to know is that i bought a bronco that had the body swapped, but the title has the origional vin number. so i want to make sure everything is legit before i get it all registered and stuff. thanks guys
