Anyone know of any good state certified smog repair shops in Vegas? I need to get my bronco to pass (or fail and get a waiver) but I only want to add parts that will only add hp gains...I don't care about it running clean. There is a waiver you can get in NV if you spend $450 and still fail. Does anyone know if headers & exhaust would be considered an attempt at repairing a smog issue? Do these certified shops do any performance work or are they just about getting it to run cleaner?

i dont know about vegas, but in SLC it is only considered a smog repair if it is realated to the smog. For example, headers wouldnt be but axhaust would be if you added a new cat. The reapair has to be for something that would help it run better. Did you already get your smog test done? if so, poast your results and i may be able give you some tips to make it run cleaner to pass the test.

I know I have a cracked exhaust manifold and want to fix it with a new set of headers.

Got it to pass at a shop across the street from where I work for $110...smog and repairs. Still got the crack in the manifold though.

As for offroading, I go in back of my house (lone mountain...215 & Cheyenne), the dry lake bed by Jean, out to Red Rock, etc...

www.vv4w.org is a local site. I think they have a list of trails. Better off asking those guys. They wheel at all different levels (stock to built)

Jt8786 have you ever been on any of the trails they have listed. I want to go out but would rather have my sas done first.

Well... in the 9 months I've owned my Bronco, its been broke for 3...

So not yet. But they have a level of difficulty rating on their pages, so you can gauge how bad it will be. I'd be down for a Vegas wheel once the trucks running. We seem to have quite a few Vegas Bronco owners on here

Well... I'm up and running. I've got an oil leak, but its out of the pan, so I'm sitting on it for a bit.

I'm stock with 32s, but I'm down for some stuff. Even if I can't wheel it hard, I'd be down to see some of you guys do it up. Let me know whats going on, if anybody wants to go, and when.
