View Full Version : 4xPepe` needs to see his kid
Davids78Bronco 07-22-2006, 11:16 PM I've been meaning to do this forever, and have bene reminded to get off my ass, and just do it. We all know what's going on, so I'm going to set up another fund raiser for him, to help any way we can, so that he can see his boy. The guy's been thru hell, and is on his way back, so I think we can do what we can, to help
So, once again, I'm opening up my paypal account (but a different one, this time) to those who are willing to contribute anything they can. The address is diamondbackmotorsports@gmail.com
redwagon 07-22-2006, 11:17 PM how long are you going to keep this open...I will def. help but cant until next friday...payday...
Davids78Bronco 07-22-2006, 11:19 PM Most likely 3-4 weeks, depends on how quickly this snowballs
Don't worry, I'm in the same boat, gonna do it, but I have to wait just a bit
derrick36 07-22-2006, 11:19 PM Nevermind.
You already answered my question.
Davids78Bronco 07-22-2006, 11:21 PM I forgot to mention - I know not everyone has a paypal account. If that's the case, and you'd still like to contribute, email me at that same address with "4xPepe` fundrasier" in the subject line, and let me know you're wanting a mailing address, and I'll give you my address

Also, with the person who mailed me a check, for Joe's past fundraiser, please PM me? Thanks
allcruisen 07-24-2006, 02:07 AM And, yes, he can see this... there's nothing I can do about it. Because of that, I've decided to withhold the amounts given, but rest assured, every cent that I receive for this, will be passed on to Pepe`
That goes out to show who he is. I know it is very important for him to see Zak.
It is gonna be hard for him to accept watt we can come up with because he is always on the giving side of things. In times like these, It trully show how STRONG of a Family Joe {dsotmoon} has built here....
Dave, I cant thank you enough on behalf of Pepe`. I too am on a fixed income, and will send the other two Members as soon as I can....
God Bless you Dave....:rockon

Davids78Bronco 07-24-2006, 03:13 AM Thanks, Kitty. Even letting him know we're still thinking about him, in this thread, is most welcome. We've all become one gigantic family, and I think it's just F'ing awesome that we come together at moments like this, to help each other out, even when we're too proud to ask for it

Ain't it the truth! :rockon
I had a PM with AC and when I started to type some of it down, I wanted to share it with all of you...
I'm doing better this week... I plan to say something in the donation thread about it, becouse honestly... last week was hell for me. Not the physical (been used to that for years now) but the pills, agencies, doctors, finances, missing my son, etc. had really gotten me down to the point where I was seriously depressed. I'm generally not one to let things get the better of me, but I guess a man can only take so much, huh? :banghead
Point is... I'm feeling better about everything and trying to get to bed before the sun rises so I don't slip back into the "twilightzone". The thread Dave started with everyone jumping in and being so generouse and kind has helped me out emotionally and given me more reason to get my shit together, again.
Infact... I think I'm gonna copy and past that in there to share with everyone. Thanks to you and so many other good folks here in our familiy... I'm shakin' off the funk and looking forward to fighting more and more, wheather I'm making ground or not! :rockon
I've been saying it for years now but more so now than ever...
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
I seriously can't begin to thank everyone for thier generosity and kindness, donated or not... you folks have really come together and much to my own suprise (it's just the internet right? wrong!) had a seriously positive effect on my life when I need it the most.
Thank you all! :thumbup
special thanks to Dave and whomever he's collaborated with on this suprise.
Ya'll can't begin to imagine what it means to me... and hopefully, to my son.
(by coincidence... my sons B-Day is August 17th :bday )
Davids78Bronco 07-26-2006, 09:23 PM You! Get out of this thread! NOW!
:toothless :hug
I'm just sorry I didn't get off my ass, and do this sooner
Saurian 07-26-2006, 09:31 PM I seriously can't begin to thank everyone for thier generosity and kindness, donated or not... you folks have really come together and much to my own suprise (it's just the internet right? wrong!) had a seriously positive effect on my life when I need it the most.

Quit your weeping and get your ass better. :goodfinge
In all seriousness, I'll be happy to do what I can tomorrow when I actually have money again. Maybe someday you'll be passing through Iowa, and I'll be able to drink some of that skanky JD with you or something. :toothless
Take'r easy! (And if she lets you take her easy, take her twice. :thumbup :hump )
Davids78Bronco 07-26-2006, 10:56 PM These are still coming in. You guys are awesome! :thumbup
Zach94 07-26-2006, 10:57 PM just caught this thread
Happy to help you out Pepe`. You always seem like a good guy and i hope you're feeling better after the accident. The thing is though, i couldn't imagine a father not being able to see his son whenever he wants (vise versa in my case).
I love this place.
LarryP 07-27-2006, 01:58 AM I didnt catch this thread till tonite. I know how things like this can get tp a person.... Hope this helps:thumbup

muddinmike 07-28-2006, 06:52 PM pepe you biker trash :goodfinge . I dont read much on here anymore but I caught this one. I know you crashed your bike a while back, bummer. Heard ya got divoriced too, where's your boy now? how much you need to get there? I'll kick some coin in but if your coming through Idaho you sure as hell better let me know ahead of time :thumbup
BikerPepe` 07-28-2006, 09:54 PM again... thanks to everyone! I'm still around shane... just had a bad week and was MIA when Dave started this whole thing. I'd have probably snuffed it from pride, but it gained to much momentum by the time I found it... so I had to sit down and accept it, in the spirit it's been given.
mike... my boy has been in Fargo, ND since August last year becouse the X set me up to let her attend school there. She basically BSed me into thinking things were fine and going as planned, until she was there long enough to claim residency. I've seen him 3 times in the last year, the last time being the evening of Christmas '05.
I'd dig swingin' by, but Boise is pretty far swing south off the trail...
Costs? Gas to Fargo (1,200 miles), hotel room, food for a few days... I honestly have no idea how much it will cost, but since I broke my neck I can't work at all and before that the $300 a month in child support kept me too tight to do anything anyway.
Now... if you stuck around more, you'd know most of that! :goodfinge
seriously though... all good vibes are appreciated, monetary or not!
muddinmike 07-28-2006, 10:51 PM make ya a deal, post up a picture of you an him having a good time and I got a benjamin headed your way :thumbup

BikerPepe` 07-28-2006, 11:35 PM well... you can keep the dough bud, but here's a hug pic right before I headed home Christmas night. About 2 minutes after this pic was shot by the X-in-laws... I was walking down the driveway sobbing like a baby girl. Couldn't stop until ND stateline. :brownbag

BikerPepe` 07-29-2006, 01:47 PM which top? ;)
Depending on how this goes... I may try to go and get him and bring him home for a week or whatever I can. I really don't want to spend anymore time around the X or her family than I have to. My boy doesn't need to deal with anymore of thier anti-Dad BS than he already has.

the drama with the mother is still on. I can't even begin to type all her BS but suffice it to say this will be very hard to pull off... even with the gas money to get there.
rest assured... it WILL happen, thanks to my friends here on FSB. :rockon
OldBlue 08-04-2006, 07:32 PM hey is it still on? if it is still going on monday Ill transfer some money over to my paypal account then from my other bank account. I missed the bank today (oops)
Davids78Bronco 08-04-2006, 08:04 PM Yeah, I can wait until then
Slickerthanyou 08-04-2006, 11:32 PM I don't know the dude or what happen, But I trust most people on this site. I hope the little I can- helps. You have helped me a few times way back and I always find the help I need on this site.
Thanks-Bob
PS- I can make her disappear if i have too!!
Gacknar 08-05-2006, 02:01 AM but I'm honestly having a hard enough time graciously accepting this already, over-generous effort.Hey you... Hippie! Yea thats right, I'm talkin to you.
Take the money. :twak :toothless
Seriously, here is the deal.
We empathize with you. You have had a bad run of luck, and we want to help the only way that most of us can. I cant come help you fix your bike, and I don't know anything about parental rights in a divorce situation.
But I can eat a Sandwich tomorrow instead of going to Hooters, and send you the difference. Thats very little money, but if every member did the same thing you would have the money to hire a high priced lawyer to get custody of Zack.
We do this, because not only do we care, but Each and every one of us would like to think that people would care enough to do the same for us.
Take it, please....
(If this for some reason insulted you, please forgive me)
BikerPepe` 08-05-2006, 06:06 AM yea know Gack... it's funny.
when I first got back after a few days and saw this thread I was insulted, I mean... I have an overabundance of pride. It's what has helped me get over being a gimp and all the PITA sh!t that comes with that. However, I was also touched by everyone reaching out like that.
I took some time to think it over and it is really super cool and the fact is... if not for the help, I probably wouldn't get to see Zak for another 6 months. So it means more than I can put into words.
I'll try to be more gracious Gack. :brownbag
Ironclad 08-05-2006, 10:07 AM Face it Pepe.....
You've been a hardcore FSB'er for some time now. For the rest of the hardcore's who just drop in daily to say hi, post jokes, read pictures, vote for whoever on top of participating in tech help, emergency help, etc..... you get a feeling about people. We become a dysfunctional dispersed family. There are folks who breeze through here all the time with a passing interest and a need to know how much body lift they need before they can run 44's....
Then there are those of us who have a love for what this site is all about. It goes beyond Broncos... it gets into sharing life's fun and life's BS.... it's about sharing knowledge..... its about sharing fun.... its about sharing our particular pieces of outdoor America. Its a common interest. A bond.
I can honestly say I doubt anyone who has contributed to any of the "Let's help our brethren" calls has done it out of pity.
It is pride.
It's the pride in our vehicles...
It's pride in our country......
It's the pride in a website.......
Its pride you take in getting to know someone who has had a bunch of lifes worst thrown at them and watching how they handle themselves and handle what life gives them.
I haven't met a lot of FSB'ers, but those I have share a common interest with me that goes beyond just driving a Bronco. Y'all know what I mean....
I have a long list of folks I'd love to meet from here one day and you are on tha list. Some of us are planning a long wheeling trip to our beautiful American west in the next couple of years and I would love to come by and burn a big ole fat one with you and and let you show us some of the country in you're part of the world....
Then I'm off to visit Ford Filly! WOOHOO! Mmmmmm...... :goodfinge
(Sorry... lost focus for a minute)
"Blood might be thicker that water" but it is not the only criteria for being family. You my friend are a big part of this dysfunctional family and I for one am happy to help a fellow hippie any day that has your calibre and metal.
It not charity. It's respect. It's the right thing to do.
OnWard Through the Fog............. :thumbup
Iolaus 08-05-2006, 04:08 PM :stupid It's about family.
MikE2 08-05-2006, 04:41 PM I just saw this now. Is it too late to send something?
where do I send it?
Davids78Bronco 08-05-2006, 09:38 PM It's not too late. If you have paypal, you can send it to my paypal address. If you'd rather send a money order, PM me and let me know, and I'll reply with instructions. Thanks

BikerPepe` 08-06-2006, 04:56 AM heavy words Ironclad! you guys are too kickass! and your right... it is about family and I've been blessed enough to become a part of a great family here!
BikerPepe` 08-06-2006, 06:41 PM Got some good news today... my Dad just bought a 1984 Toyota Corolla real cheap becouse it needed a water pump.
He replaced the water pump and the rig runs like a top with only 110,000 original milies. Not only is this good news for him (since his 79' Bronco has that 400 gas guzzler)... it's a lil 4 banger and should get at least 30 mpg and the first thing he said was I could use it to drive to ND to visit Zak!
Should save me more gas money (8-10 more mpg) over the Yota X-Cab V6 I have. :thumbup
Looks like some of the prayers and good vibes are starting to come together! This wouldn't even begin to be possible though... without the help from my FSB family! :rockon
waltman 08-06-2006, 06:58 PM Good for you Pepe`, you really need a descent break after the shite you've gone through and I don't mean another bone break either. Damn, I just read about what happened to you with your bike. You are one lucky SOB. Glad you are up and about and not a paraplegic, and hopefully things will improve with the kid situation.
MikE2 08-06-2006, 11:11 PM I'm putting something in the mail for you Monday Pepe`, don't leave untill you get it
Davids78Bronco 08-07-2006, 12:19 PM Alright, everyone, I'm closing this, because we've more than raised enough, for Pepe` to see his son. As of this morning, you've all contributed a grand total of $926.74, and with Mike2's donation, should be MORE than enough to get the guy on his way
I want to thank everyone who's donated, and kept him in your prayers, you all have been fantastic. The money is in transfer to my bank account now, and once that's done, I'll be getting a bank money order, for that amount, and mailed off to him. I'd do another paypal transfer, but I don't know if Pepe` has an account, and for the same amount of time, I can avoid another, large, 3% fee from paypal, by doing the money order
FordFilly 08-07-2006, 01:45 PM Sweet, I just love all these folks. This is such a great thing.
Pepe, I hope everything goes well and that the time you spend with your son will help speed your recovery and let the sun shine again in your heart. God bless and best wishes!
BikerPepe` 08-07-2006, 04:35 PM WOW! :shocked
This is so cool everyone! That money will get me over there, put me up in a hotel (so I don't have to deal with staying with the X and her fiancee) and still have enough to take him out to do something for a late birthday treat.
The X told me last week that Zak will be gone from the 10th - 21st with his grandparents for a wedding of someone he doesn't even know. Then he starts school on the 24th. Of course I was not at all asked about possible visitation conflict and when I told her I had plans to come out soon she told me it was too late, the tickets were bought and the deal was done.
Interestingly, she had been also leading me on with the promise that she was going to bring him over to see me right after his B-Day (17th) which I now know was a total lie and in complete conflict with reality. Not only did she lie about her intention, but filled the time with other obligations while BS'ing me.
Since he's starting school... I'm going to sit on this for a little bit while I work on getting back into my leg. In my entire life my son has never seen me down like this and I'm sure he'll be more comfortable if we can walk around on a cane together, rather than me wheelin around in this chair.
Since he'll be back in school by the time I can see him... I'll only have a weekend to spend with him, unless there is any non-school event coming up. The schools website still has last years schedule listed and no info on this year, yet. I'm thinking of waiting for his first 3 day weekend or something... or trying (against all hope) to have the X approve an extra day out of school or something.
Either way... I just wanted you all to know what's up.
This will happen, thanks to all of you... I just want to maximize what little time I will have with him, since it will probably be a long time before I will be able to do this again.
Thanks again everyone, this is really awesome of you all and I'll never be able to express how gratefull I truly am for this family or this gift to me and my son!
Davids78Bronco 08-07-2006, 05:08 PM Yeaah, we did good! :chili:
Bronco Rob 08-07-2006, 07:25 PM God Bless Ya Brother......
BikerPepe` 08-12-2006, 09:01 AM Update in recent events...
I don't want to embaress MikE (too much :toothless ) but suffice it to say his extremely generouse donation has pushed this well over the top. I'm not even able to put into words how gratefull and dumbfounded I am by the generosity you have all shown me.
"Thank you, one and all... for helping me to be the Father I need to be, but have been unable to be."
Davids78Bronco 08-12-2006, 02:14 PM Good!... So when are you doing this?
there's another one on the way, courtesy of your friend, 78cerberus. So, with his $20 contribution, the M/O I sent on behalf of everyone else, what's your grand total?
BikerPepe` 08-14-2006, 04:56 PM With MikE and 78cerberus the grand total is: $1446.74
This is far more than enough to take on the trip. Hell... I'm tempted to put some in bike parts and ride over to see him, but I won't. This money was donated for him and it will be spent on him.
I'm thinking of heading over the weekend of the 26th and staying as long as possible, but I have to heal up some first. I went out this last weekend to a Blue's Festival and stayed the night at an old friends. Unfortunatly... I got wasted and while walking around on my already sore leg... I fell down a few times and I'm hurtin' like hell now. I should be healed up by then, but as I said... I want to at least be able to walk around with him while I'm there.
He's out of town with his grandparents until the 21st, so when he gets back I'll arrange the visit. I think I may be able to talk the X into letting him miss a day or 2 of school while I visit him, but we'll have to see how it plays out with her.
Thanks again everyone... I can't wait! :rockon
Davids78Bronco 08-14-2006, 05:59 PM With MikE and 78cerberus the grand total is: $1446.74
Woot! A new record! Y'all did awesome! And from me, thanks everyone! :chili: :chili:

BikerPepe` 08-15-2006, 05:24 PM Just got off the phone with the X.
Got her to agree to take Zak out of school for 1 day... the Friday of Labor Day weekend. I'm planning on spending Labor Day weekend over in Fargo with him, the 1st - 4th.
Thanks again everyone! This is the best news I've had in my life in a very long time!
Davids78Bronco 08-15-2006, 06:46 PM Sweet! :rockon
FordFilly 08-16-2006, 04:03 PM Great news and I will send all my wishes for you to have an awesome trip and it is all that you hoped for and more.
srhanson 08-16-2006, 04:22 PM Congrats Pep and good luck. Have a great weekend with the kid and show him what a real Parent does.
Shane
Audra 08-16-2006, 11:48 PM That is just awesome news. I can't believe she budged even just an inch, it must have been meant to be
Green Gynt 08-16-2006, 11:50 PM That is awsome to hear. Have a great Weekend!
Jim
BikerPepe` 08-16-2006, 11:56 PM That is just awesome news. I can't believe she budged even just an inch, it must have been meant to be
It cought her soooo off guard. She knows my situation and didn't think I could possibly make it over there for a long, long time. When I told her I WAS COMING she barely knew what to say. :rockon
Thanks to all of you! :thumbup
Decker 08-18-2006, 01:57 AM Pepe... I'd like to help out also.. I know what it's like to have a loved one half a world away...
When are you leaving? Do you need help wrenching or preping the car for the trip?
What kind of bike do you have? What parts do you need? I can usually scrounge up anything (except gosh darn bronco parts)...
BikerPepe` 08-18-2006, 05:34 AM I appreciate the offers Decker. I think the visit w/Zak is well covered.
My Pa is working out the final bugs on his lil' 4 banger yota and if it doesn't seem capable... I still have my yota X-cab. It's a V6 and a POS, but it hasn't broke down on me yet.
My hog needs basically any body parts (fenders, tank {carb'ed, not EFI}, bars, cables, headlight, gas guage/cap, speedo, dash, front blinkers, battery, etc.) for any 2000 - 2005 Softail (except Duece). We ate it pretty hard. :brownbag
She was a nicely customized Heritage Softail 2000 (FLSTC), but I'm just looking to get basic primer black stuff on her now to get her back up and running... after that, I'll worry about the way she looks. Any tips on cheap parts (preferably used and possibly even dinged if bondo/body fix-able) just let me know. :thumbup
Decker 08-18-2006, 04:33 PM You got it man, I'll keep an eye out
muddinmike 08-19-2006, 09:37 PM right on brother :thumbup great news
Take some pics while your there, you know how us pic whores are :popc1:
BikerPepe` 08-20-2006, 03:07 AM if I can talk my bro (or more likely, his ol' lady) into letting me borrow thier only camera (digi-cam) to take with me on Labor Day weekend, I'm all over it! :thumbup
MikE2 08-21-2006, 01:15 AM Don't worry about it. I'll send you a camera. I have a 6.1 megapixel Kodak with the docking station printer thingy and a bunch of other things with it. I bought it 8 months ago and havn't even used it yet. All I did was open the box up and looked at stuff and its been siting here in the office ever since. All you will need is the memory card.
Davids78Bronco 08-21-2006, 01:46 AM whatta guy! :thumbup
BikerPepe` 08-21-2006, 02:38 AM dude... your insane! seriously... I'm already overly-indebted to you!
I'll never be able to say thanks enough without annoying the shit out of you and me! :toothless
MikE2 08-21-2006, 02:58 AM I'll send it out tomarrow. I'm sorry if theres anything missing from the box. I think everything is there and everything was unopened but .........The box sat opened up on a desk from Januaury untill now. I only bought the camera because it had the docking station and all that other fancy crap to print pictures directly off the camera. After I got it I realized I wouldn't be able to edit the pictures unless I put them on the computer anyways so it was kind of pointless to use it. It wouldn't have been any advantage over what I already got.
BikerPepe` 08-21-2006, 03:29 AM don't be sorry dude... sending me your extra digi-cam is supercool man.
thanks, I will put it to good use.
MikE2 08-22-2006, 02:15 AM forgot to grab it when I left the house this morning. I'll get it sent out Tuesday afternoon.
LarryP 08-22-2006, 02:33 AM What a guy:thumbup :thumbup :thumbup :thumbup :thumbup
Audra 08-22-2006, 09:29 AM Mike:
What kind of memory card does he need? I've got extras of three kinds. And I have your address PePe, nothing you can do about it :p :p :p :histerica
BikerPepe` 08-22-2006, 09:32 AM you folks are far too good to me! :brownbag
oh yea... just FYI for everyone to have an idea of this trip: GOOGLE MAP - SPOKANE, WA to FARGO, ND (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&saddr=spokane,+WA&daddr=fargo,+ND&ie=UTF8&om=1)
MikE2 08-23-2006, 01:45 AM Sent it out today. The reciet said you should get it Friday at 11:59 am
BikerPepe` 08-23-2006, 07:59 PM thanks again MikE!
so... pics are a go! :rockon
BikerPepe` 08-24-2006, 08:03 PM well... got the call I was expecting this afternoon.
the X's cousin died yesterday (did he really?). she says she may be taking zak to his funeral when? you guessed it... same weekend. :banghead
For the last 8 months... shit comes up, every single time.
between dr. appointments and possibly starting college on the 18th, this is going to get real tricky.
we have another call tomarrow to work on details and will probably end up moving the date to another weekend, that will screw me up with my school or my cat scan, no doubt.
I hate this woman! :banghead she knows if she were to try and outright deny me, she'd be breaking the law and I'd nail her for it... so instead I get all these promises and plans that always fall through at the last minute.
(and yes, I understand shit happens... but every single time?!?)
tell her that the cousin ain't that important!!
hell the kid probably don't even know the cousin!
Iolaus 08-24-2006, 08:50 PM Document every time plans get changed or fall through, in detail; you never know what might come up later.
Davids78Bronco 08-24-2006, 09:01 PM No kidding... it's gotten old, the second time around. Next time, don't even call, just show up
then, punch her in the throat :toothless
MikE2 08-24-2006, 09:13 PM Go to the funeral with him
Leardc 08-24-2006, 09:16 PM Or at least offer to.. who knows the story might change.
Audra 08-24-2006, 09:34 PM t hats a real good suggestion. Show up and offer to take the kid to the funeral, rest of the time is daddy's time. Who the hell takes kids to funerals of people that aren't immediate family anyways????
Geez, memory card for the camera went out UPS 2 day mail.
BikerPepe` 08-24-2006, 09:50 PM well... the guy that died is in Jersey, so she will be taking Zak out of state again and that's why it may take more than just one of my days. Hopefully this can all be cleared up before my weekend, but knowing her... I doubt it.
Since her parents will also be going, the only alternative is to leave Zak with the new guy... and I have to admit I was relieved to hear that was not an option to her. Then again... is it not an option becouse it's not cool to do that, or becouse it's a bigger problem for me... or worst of all, is it a problem for personal reasons? I hate this shit!
Of course the obvious other question then becomes... how the hell can you afford to do all this when you say you can't even spare a little gas money to help your own child see his father? :banghead
Queen of excuses... I hope she burns in hell for all this!
shit like this is what drives parents over the edge... I can't even tell you all how many evil and twisted thoughts go through my head as I endure this crap from her. :banghead
Joes93Bronco 08-24-2006, 10:17 PM i thought it was illegal to take the kid outta the state without yer permission?
my ex has to have mine :shrug
BikerPepe` 08-24-2006, 10:19 PM becouse the divorce was initiated when we were both residents of different states... it was never brought in.
more BS I endure becouse I couldn't afford an attorney for the divorce.
Joes93Bronco 08-24-2006, 11:18 PM ouch.
sorry brother.
Broncogirl89 08-24-2006, 11:46 PM I am so sorry hun, that has to be so frustrating for you, I wonder what would happen if you just did show up to visit without notice, I know in some divorce papers the other party usually has to give 24 hours notice of such plans, some are different I am sure.
Audra 08-25-2006, 04:04 PM I dont have time to clean out my mailbox, heading out of town for the weekend, let me know if it doesn't get there babe : hug :

Bronco Rob 08-25-2006, 04:39 PM becouse the divorce was initiated when we were both residents of different states... it was never brought in.
more BS I endure becouse I couldn't afford an attorney for the divorce.
That's why you get a good lawyer, bury the bitch as far as you can, and just keep working to get your child.
My ex-wife tried some shit before i left on my road trip. She no longer has any visitation rights, any legal rights, or any rights whatsoever. Allyson sees her mother because i let her see her mother, not because her mother has the right to.
I was so pissed that she tried something again, plus with everything else going on in my life at the time, i actually almost had the state take away her other children, she finally called me up one day, crying and said "Please Stop". I figured i had enough, My daughter is now completely my daughter, she has no rights. She ****ed with the wrong person with the wrong thing. My daughter is why i am alive.

Pepe,
Not sure if anyone has posted this link but you should check it out.

Welcome to SPARC, the Separated Parenting Access & Resource Center.
SPARC's goal is to ensure that children of divorce continue to have meaningful relationships with both parents, regardless of marital status. We advocate on behalf all non-custodial parents to ensure they get equitable treatment in court and continued access to their children. In addition, we work to promote gender equality in Divorce and Custody issues.
SPARC recognizes the value of fatherhood and supports the concept of true joint custody, where parents work together for the best interests of their children. When joint custody is not possible or workable, we often advocate for fathers as custodial parents. Statistics show that custodial fathers are the most likely to encourage a positive relationship between their children and the other parent and to raise happy, healthy children.
SPARC operates as a provider of information and support resources, and we provide our services without cost. The information and services available through SPARC can be used to great effect, but they will not help a parent "cheat" their way to custody. We work to promote fair and equitable treatment, not to give one parent or the other an unfair advantage.
BikerPepe` 08-25-2006, 06:21 PM Rob... you'll notice the part of my quoted post that says, could not afford an attorney. I know you mean well... but that response stings.
I had no idea how trecherous this woman was capable of being. It was my own ignorance and trust. How could I have known the depths that she was willing to sink to?
I didn't... and I trusted her to keep to her word. It wasn't like we hadn't ever discussed our relationship problems and what we would do if we didn't make it. I was just foolish enough to believe her. I was just foolish enough to think that after taking care of her for 7 years, providing everything I possibly could, sacraficing so many things from my life... that she might actually have some sort of gratitude for my efforts and appreciation for the fact that I was always a caring and loving father. Yep... lesson learned.
Worse yet... many folks here tried to warn me when I was going through it. I now know what I wish I'd have known back then.
I may not have my son right now... but there will come a time that he needs me and it is now my responability to get it together so I can be there for him then and to make sure that until then he always knows that I love him and will be there for him when he needs me. That is the very best I can do, for now.
Dave... I'm a lifelong member in the 4F chapter of that very club! :rockon
Thanks MDA, they are bookmarked now! I'll be checking them out as time allows.
MikE... I got the camera this afternoon man! What an awesome little setup. I can't say thanks enough. But... I can share pics with everyone here, as soon as that sucker is charged up! :thumbup
FWIW.....I read Rob's statement as a "going forward" comment not a "you should have" comment.
BikerPepe` 08-25-2006, 07:26 PM Your absolutly right mda... I know Robs heart is in the right place. He and I have had a few indepth conversations.
Rob... don't take my response as overtly defensive against what you said. I'm glad for you that you have fought and won that which is most important in life.
I only wish I could have been in a better position at the time. While I have huge regrets about what I allowed to take place, I am also moving forward and planning on doing the very best I can for him and for myself.
MikE2 08-26-2006, 01:12 AM Pepe`, this doesn't help much in your situation, but what you said about trusting her in the beginning is the exact reason why I tell everyone I know to have a pre-nup before any marrage. When I say that everyone says if you think you need a pre-nup you shouldn't be getting married in the first place. I say if someones afraid to sign a pre-nup you shouldn't be getting married. You may think everythinge great in the beggining, but as you found out people can and do change a lot over the course of even a few years. I have seen too many good friends of mine get ****ed over in a divorce because of their ****ed up POS wife.
And now that you got a camera get some pics of cool shit
BikerPepe` 08-26-2006, 07:34 AM hindsight is 20/20
I'll whip up a webpics post when I finger out how to use it. :toothless
finger???
ok please tell me it hasn't came down to fingering the camera! lol
Bronco Rob 08-26-2006, 02:12 PM Your absolutly right mda... I know Robs heart is in the right place. He and I have had a few indepth conversations.

You dumbass, your talking like your BEAT! It ****ing ain't over til YOU decide it's over. You may not have the money now to proceed with anything, but that doesn't mean you can't in the near future. Once you start working, find a lawyer that will set up a payment plan with you, most of them understand that you can't come up with a huge sum of cash immediately. I just got done paying my laywers off in 2005 and my freaking custody battle was done in 2003.
The Pepe i know wouldn't give up, the Pepe that lost a leg and got back on a bike wouldn't give up. Brotha, quit talking like your done, quit talking like you can't do anything about this until you have exploited every possible route to get what YOU want. **** that bitch, i had hope and faith that the ex-fiance was a good person, and the way she is acting now is just not her, but you know what, this is her, **** her too. You need to make YOU happy in YOUR life because you only get ONE! Quit worrying about hurting feelings and making enemies, worry about you for once.
And if you take offense to this, GOOD! Now take that rage and anger your feeling towards me, get back on your feet, and use it to ****ing knock her on her ass.
FWIW.....I read Rob's statement as a "going forward" comment not a "you should have" comment.
You nailed it on the head.
Decker 08-31-2006, 02:05 AM Pepe... just start calling up a few attorneys and see if they will listen to your story. You would be supprised how many will take on your case pro bono... in other words, no cost to you. Just find one that specializes in divorce cases (yeah I know it's been a long time) and hates lying bitches :)
My .02
BTW, I've got a possible line on a rear fender for your bike... no promisses, but I'm waiting for the guy to call me back
BikerPepe` 08-31-2006, 06:54 PM Rob... I appreciate the thought man. I haven't given up... I'm just bugged out lately. I know you can understand that.
Thanks Decker... I've got some other parts comin' around the last weekend of Sept., so no rush.
To everyone:
I haven't been on for the last few days becouse I have alot of anxiety right now. Seeing my son for the first time in 8 months... well, it's got me wound up pretty tight. So many feelings of anger, frustration, heart break, anticipation, excitment, love... etc. I feel like I'm ready to short circut.
Of course... I won't, but I sure do feel like that.
I'm leaving tonight and will be seeing him Saturday morning. Hell... I may even drive straight through and see him Friday night. I'm so wound up I can't imagine sleeping, but I don't want to be stupid on the road.
My Dads car is acting up... so I'm taking the Yota. Gas is going to suck, but at least I'll have tunes. :rockon
So... I want to again thank all of you for making this possible. There has been a hole in my heart for the longest time and while it can't be filled without him in my life 24x7, this will be a step in the right direction.
Alright... I'm getting chocked up (such an emotional basketcase right now) so I'm off to take care of some final organization. Take care all... and from my soul I thank you all! See ya in a few days.

Davids78Bronco 08-31-2006, 07:26 PM lol, I meant that as a term of endearment (sp) - not literally ;)

Godspeed Pepe
Decker 09-01-2006, 01:59 AM Leave now! Then take breaks as you need them so you arent rushed...

BikerPepe` 09-09-2006, 04:22 AM hey hey hey now! I owe ya MikE, but that's not cool dude! :twak
muddinmike's been a longtimer here and deserves to enjoy the benefits of his generous donation just as much as everyone else... not to mention he did specifically ask for a smilin' pic of my boy and I.
I don't think I should have to put my ass at some risk with the X just to share this with everyone who made it possible, nor do I see this as anyway to force folks to cough up more dough then they are comfortable with.
Check your PM's muddinmike... hope you return to see this. I would think you have thick enough skin to blow off the standard BS.
MikE2 09-09-2006, 01:11 PM I'm just messin with him. I sould hope he know better than to take me seriously
BikerPepe` 09-09-2006, 01:22 PM we'll see... that's one problem with the interweb stuff, knowing when folks are foolin' or for real. :shrug
