Hey guys,
Looking for the best spot to wire the 12V wire for the 750 edelbrock carb. 78 bronco with 429. Thanks, Nick
Lemme know how the 429 likes that 750 Edelbrock.
I've got a 770 Holley on my 429 and it's too much, I wanna get a 650 Edelbrock or de-tune the shit out of this Holley.

What part of the starter relay? Where the + side of battery connects? Also, do you guys ground out the motor to the firewall of frame? or both? Thanks

the side that the wire coming from the ignition switch...that way you have power with switch on only...the ground wire off the battery should be grounded to both the frame and engine.

Thanks for the help.
Right now the motor is grounded to the firewall. The battery - connects to the passernger side of the motor. I heard from my local shop that grounding to the frame is better then the firewall, any truth to this? thanks!

theres probably a small ground strap up on top of the motor that attaches to the firewall...but If I was you I would also run a cable from the battery to the engine...on mine it connects right next to the block next to the alt.

just put the carb on an hour ago and the 429 really likes the edelbrock 750. I had another 750 on there, but she was cailibrated for denver and that did not run very good here in Yuma AZ. Any idea on where is a good place to get a kickdown kit for it? Good price that is. thanks all.

Why not just wire the choke up to the OE wire?
Go with a Lokar cable kit for the kickdown.

you can add it to the green with red stripe (same as the hot on for the alt. not been an issue on mine for 2 years now.....mike

You really need both for the best grounding. Some things use the body for ground and others use the frame. If you only have one of them grounded the other depends on connection thru the body bolts.
