And explain it like your trying to teach a child how to read. redwagon 10-08-2006, 11:58 PM Is that similair to a Klune?....Rob it reduces the gear ratios to the t-case thus giving you a lower wheel speed...good for rock crawling. LarryP 10-09-2006, 01:23 AM It says its a overdrive unit not an underdrive. And it go's in front of the trany if i read it right.:thumbup redwagon 10-09-2006, 01:25 AM my bad.... piney fab 10-09-2006, 11:38 AM It claims to be a selfcontained overdrive unit that mounts between the clutch and transmission on most 4 speed applications. The result would give you a higher gear range thru all four of your gears. Making granny gear a more usefull first or for the hiway when you are running average mphs you can over drive. I was wonderin for use say havin the t case in low and the ranger in Over drive if that would help out in some situations but not worth the 7.5" I would lose in my drivetrain. Noticed it was cheaper than the average overdrive bolt on systems. Checking around they do offer an underdrive too in the same set up so underdrive for deeper gears is not out of the question. |
