Ok fawker, It's dark out, it's raining, but I needed a smoke so I got a measurement for you while I was out there.

37.5" from one inner tab to the other inner tab on a 79 front axle.

I would wait for some one else to reply before you giver hell though.

now i just ran out & looked. across the front of the axle, outside tip to outside tip, roughly its 45" i will get a better measurment tomorrow. the diff cover was in the way, but thats pretty close. AXE
