UPDATE 10/12 - Well, I waited, I refused the order, I got my axles, and.....

They screwed up the order AGAIN. I got two nice shiney new inner axles and one (yes, 1) stub shaft. I just can't comprehend how, after 25 emails, 3 different orders, and finally a compromise from the OEM, that my order could STILL be screwed up.

I've had it.

If you value your time and money, DO NOT buy from Tellico 4x4. You will regret it.

UPDATE: So after going back and forth with them in email (they still don't answer the phone), I got some satisfaction. It's goofy, but I have to refuse the drop-shipped package, and then Warn will send me out the right axles. Leave it to a REPUTABLE company to fix the goof...

However, I have to say that even though I got somewhat frustrated with the CS lady in the emails, she stuck through it and kept helping me. That still doesn't excuse the sloppy order processing, but at least I may get what I ordered and paid for.

But here's the whole sordid story:

I ordered some chromoly axles for my Jeep on Sunday (10/1). I was all excited. I watched with anticipation for their web-based processing system to change from "processing" to "shipped". Their website assured me that all orders were processed within 24 to 48 hours. So...Oct. 2 comes and goes (Happy b-day to me!). Still nothing, Then Oct. 3rd....then Oct. 4th...by noon yesterday I was getting a little worried. I sent an email asking for an update. They then say, "oops...sorry....those axles are back-ordered". Shit. Ok, well, how much more are the Warn axles, I ask. Only $120 more....

ok, fine, I say. If they're in stock and can ship, then send me those. No problem, they say, and send me off a receipt for the new axles....I'm glad I looked at it....

So, they send me a set of axle for a 1971 - 1977 Ford Bronco.....

uh....

My axle is full-width ('78-'79 Bronco)...those are for an EB.

No, they say, that's what you ordered from Superior...we just matched them up.

No way. I know what I ordered. I was CAREFUL to make sure I ordered the full-width axles. They just got lazy, saw Bronco, and didn't read the rest.

So I email back and say "Those are wrong...cancel the order! "

The respond right back: "They already shipped. There's nothing we can do."

WTF!!!!!!!! The order only got changed last night.

So I send back, "Fine. Give me an RMA. I'll send them back. Give me my money back. I will find my axles somewhere else."

And then I get, "So....are you saying that you want to cancel the order?"

And just now, "The order already shipped. We can't cancel it. Sorry...."

And their Customer Service line dumps to voicemail.....

I fight with 4WD hardware and quadratec all the time, everybody sucks these days. And even when the company ships the right order, UPS or Fedex F-up the delivery. I buy in town whenever possible now.
