Haven't had it long enough yet to speak authoritatively about @ idle output. But cold to warm it seems to keep up with headlights, brake, lights, 6 rock lights, and dual electric cooling fans while sitting still with transmission in drive. We'll have to see how it does out on the trail when it's fully up to temp (hot).
