i just wanted to say that paypal sucks sweaty balls. i have had my account access limited for longer than i have bben avle to use it. i had a couple transactions where people had tried to purchase stuff from me with credit or debit card and the only wa to accept these payments is to upgrade to a business or retail account and pay a service charge and 2.9% of the transaction. so i would denie there payments and ask the buyers to pay from a bank account and then they would but i guess after like tree times of this happening paypal considers this suspicious activity and has limited my account and are holding $220 dollars of mine. they asked for me to confirm my address which i did. then they asked for me to add acredit card which i did. and even after that they stil wouldnt remove the limited access. they say that i needed to fax them info on the whopping 5 transactions i have done. like a complete description of they items being sold, their value,my affilition with the buyers, any email correspondence regarding the transactions. and a couple more retarded things. none of these trans actions were over $220 and all five maybe totaled $500. i faxed them all their stuff and recieved no word from them so i called last night and the idiot o the other line was of no help and basically said i need to fax again. so today i faxed like twenty times. i hope they are drowning in my faxes. still no word and i emailed them this afternoon and the dipshit who emails me back just says that i need to follow the steps on the how to remove limited access portion of my account which were the first things in did like adding a credit card and confirming my account which it says right on there that the stuff was submitted. sorry for rambling but i thought paypal was supposed to be convenient.

Any body else have any problems with paypal?

sounds like one of those scams people are doing using paypals and ebays name. they would say something stupid like ur account is lost, we need ur info including ur CC, bank account number & etc.

Are you sure this is really paypal that is giving you a hard time?

Has anyone stole your account on paypal and doing some bad business? Is your computer clean of malware?

No kidding. ANY paypal link that doesn't start with https:// is bogus. You may have just given up your identity and potential good credit

Good luck!

i am scared for you. please verify that the number to call paypal is the same as what you called. also, did you initiate these calls or did they? did you call a number they sent you or did you get the number yourself?

no its legit because even when i call them and stay on hold for thirty minutes. the person from paypal confirms everything. and my account shows the limited access. ihad to add a credit card to get verified as a security measure.

Same here. The F-250 in my Avatar was paid for using Paypal. I even have a Paypal Mastercard thaty I have directly linked to my bank account in case my BofA check card gets lost/stolen/rendered useless. I like my Paypal so much, I converted it to a money market account. No problems for me...even after having it for years.

Paypal blows, its too effin complicated. Ever since Ebay took it over the interface got way too complicated. Just like Ebay, what a horrible confusing website. Its easy to find stuff, but try selling something, its ridiculous.

Plus they nickel and dime you for every little thing you do.

I had the same problem with Paypal. When you put an ebay listing on, you can put a Paypal icon in the description, but there is no way to exclude the "credi card accepted" part of the icon. So yea I have the same problem with people sending me credit card payments I cant accept.

I have used them for years ... without a problem...Me too.its my luck to have a shitty expierience.I don't think you're dealing with the REAL PayPal, either. Be careful...Paypal ... its too effin complicated.I find it to be as easy & reliable as I could imagine. :shrugEbay ... they nickel and dime you for every little thing you do.Another way to say that is: they don't charge you for anything you don't want. ;)

I'm not the most web savvy guy in the world, but have probably done a couple hundred buy/sells over the years. I hate paypal with a passion. there web site is confusing as hell, I've never been able to get old cards off, adding a new card is a pain and seems like it's been different every time. I just tried to use them to buy a bumper from david. After two days, gave up and snail mailed a check. In retrospect, I could have wired him the money instantly for 15 bucks (I do it every day) which is cheaper than the paypal charge.
Looks like a good opportunity for an industrious person to eat their lunch with a far superior competitive company.

I had a hell of a time getting a Paypal account setup. I have worked in IT for many years so I am not computer illeterate by any means. I pretty much worked around it until recently when I finally gave in and setup an EBAY account. I made a few purchases and needed a Paypal account for a certain one that was Paypal only. I had to go back and forth with them to get it to work but after all the hastle it's working fine now.

If nothing else it will make my next FSB membership renewal a little easier. :toothless

...for 15 bucks ... which is cheaper than the paypal charge.I've never paid PP anything for any transfer, and it has always worked fine. In fact, they've paid ME.
