jackhart 10-22-2006, 01:21 PM nice job, looks like you've got more room and the design looks slightly more functional. is that a 12v outlet you have mounted there?
you could probably get a few bucks on greedbay for that, i wouldn't be so quick to throw it out.
That looks outstanding. Very professional.
ScorpionBoy 10-22-2006, 01:27 PM i hope poopy-pants comes in here and sees that. be good for his second iteration (hint, hint). :toothless

Yeah, that's a 12 volt aux. plug. I think I will trying to sell it on egay, thanks for the idea.
beequewl 10-22-2006, 02:21 PM that looks awesome. i am planning a new center console as weell. i was going to go diamond plate, but that looks so good i think i might copy it. :rockon
.
GHOSTRIDER 10-22-2006, 03:06 PM Awesome, Hammer....got me thinking of redoing mine.....BTW how did you mount it to the floor? pix of that?
magnumpi 10-22-2006, 03:21 PM Looks amazing. How long did it take you?
Ptack1 10-22-2006, 03:21 PM Cool, looks pretty good. I think the wood looks a bit out of place, but thats my only complaint. Very cool.
Marauder 10-22-2006, 03:47 PM The finish came out nice :thumbup
SigEpBlue 10-22-2006, 05:06 PM Excellent work. The fit and finish looks absolutely beautiful.
Warhammer 10-22-2006, 05:27 PM Glad you caught that Ghostrider. I only had two brackets on hand, so I used them on the back:

All in all it took me a couple of weeks to work everything out. All said and done, I would guess about 15 hours total, again, it's been about 17 years since I did ANY kind of wood project. Thanks for all the good reviews.
AC's_Bronco 10-22-2006, 05:55 PM That is one of the most beautiful consoles I have ever seen. It would look more in place if it were in some sort of boat (preferably a sail boat). I kind of want one, but I would be afraid that I would break it. Good work!

Good call. Thats what I imagined in my head, but got lazy:rofl: . I have drawings of my next one and it is very similair, just a little smaller because I have to make room for the shifter. Looks good.
