What kinda side would you make to go with Scallops?

rice, or vegetables, some places server baked or mashed potatoes with them too. Or a lobster, feel free to invite me over if you have lobster and scallops

Definitely some garlic spiced vegetables and hell make rice too. It couldn't hurt.

Get some candles, make it romantic, make her realize what she means to you.

butter & herb smashed taters, lemon-pepper carrots. Nothing with a strong flavor for a side... don't want to over power the flavor of the scallops. The lemon will accent them. How are you doing the scallops?

Wild rice/ Rice pilaf or scalloped potatoes along with some sort of cooked vegies..... yummy! I now want some Scallops.

Hows some lemon/garlic chicken breast with some white clam sauce over it, seared scallops, vegetables and rice with some wine to wash it down?

That reminds me, I have a 5lb bag of Scallops in the freezer. Biggest Scallops you've ever seen. Think I'll cook some up with the salmon I bought tonight, and bake some mini potatos. Come on over folks!

I'm not a chef but not bad for 15mins. Scallops to the left of the quater, I fried them in olive oil, normal I'd bacon wrap them and bake them in the oven.

Only thing about corn on the cob - its messy, gets in your teeth and butter stinks. If this is a date I'd go for rice or patato.

Fettucini with an alfredo sauce with some shrimp tossed in. Bacon wrap those scallops and drizzle them with a VERY LIGHT coating of garlic butter.

Think of me while you get the "thank-you" blow-job. On second thought......don't.

But if you have to go with rice, use basmati or jasmin. No soya sauce, but toss in half a teaspoon of cumin or curry powder to spice it up.

I'll second the rice pilaf idea or the fettuchini idea

cooked in butter and garnished with chopped parsley or cilantro

Go over to Ma's and make of with her really small cookie cutters. Half blanche some whole cabbage leaves and lay out cabbage leaves and cut em' out with the cookie cutters, toss em' all back in and finish cookin' em'.
