Alright, Gettin out of work early tomorow, goin home and doin a Front brake job for a buddy at work. He has a 1998 Honda Accord.
Just curious, I've done countless brake jobs on all kinds of cars and trucks, but never an import. Does anyone know if there is anything particularly different about a Honda than other vehicles, when it comes to doing brakes, such as the way the caliper is mounted, etc? IE: Ford uses slide pins, Chevy uses the Torx-like bolts, Dodge uses regular bolts...
I'm not worried or anything... Just like to know what to expect when I tear into it, so as to be prepared.
BTW, Lucky me, The car is one year ahead of the CRAP design where Honda made it so you couldn't remove the rotor, without removing the hub and wheel bearing, thank god... What a stupid design that was.
This one should be easy.
