so my truck got some Washington plates now, so i have to get a front plate mount for the bumper. i found some on the net, but does anyone know where to get one local? thanks. -ed

why not jusu drill a coulpe of holes into the bumper and bolt the plate right to the bumper

you dont NEED to have a front plate.. just nice;)
another option is to put it on your dash.. just set it there then you dont have to drill your bumper.

Wa State law actually requires a front and rear plate. The only thing you do not have to have up front is a tab. I also vote for a drill job. Waste the $5-10 somewhere else rather than on plastic that will get ripped off one day anyway.

i dont want to half-way do it. also the bumper trim is in the way. i would have to mount it lower than the existing holes and it would look whack. i guess ill order it off the net. -ed

I know they require one but all you really need to do is have the front plate with you... my family has a front plate on everything we drive... but some people hate the look and dont run one.

Hit one of the local PicknPulls most Fullsize Fords will have one. Most people just screw the plate to the bumper so you should find one easy.

The Pull A Part near McChord never has any Ford stuff
accept old stuff.
I've seen whole Bronco's get yanked right outta the yard there.......

Call OLY4X4 I've seen several Fullsize Fords in their yard at different visits.
