I have been very busy at work, and have not had to much time to post my progress, but here are a couple of good examples of where I am at right now.

I like the wooden roll cage. Adds character, and gives it that "brave pioneer" look.

looken real good. are you going to cover that with a soft top setup or get some metal panels to weld in place?

My wooden cage was used for a template before I started messing up bending my tubing,
I even used cardboard to mockup panels, Too bad it all flew off when i tried to drive it around the shop.

I don;t know what the seats are out of, traded the driveline guy for em, Mazda maybe?

And I still have not figured out whar to do about the body panels and stuff,
I am still far from that point.

I was thinking about using the skins of my fenders and stuff, to make it look like it was a Bronco at one time.

I will more than likely fill in some spots with regular sheet metal?

I actually thought about canvas.

Right now i am more worried about just getting it driveable, my coil set-up in the year set me back a few weeks.

aluminum diamond plate on most spots and plexi on the sides where you want to see out of... redneck bling buggy.... and i wouldn't weld any panels in... put tabs on so you can remove em to paint em or replace em or whatever

Rear Coil set-up is done.
(accept the shock placement)

It is not a 3-link, or a true wristed set-up
But sort of a one link with a radius arm and trac-bar, don't know what its called? (poor mans 3-link)

Coil buckets - cut and braced TTB buckets

drivers Radius arm - 2" .25 wall DOM with 1" heim at frame
3" poly bushing at axle

passenger radius arm - same as drivers but with lateral support made of same material as trac bar.

Trac-bar 1.5" .25 wall DOM with 3/4" heims

a few brackets are from ballistic fabrication, good pricing for plasma cutting.
(you can tell wich ones I cut with the oxy torch)

Drivers side arm does not have a lateral support so it will act as a wristed arm.

I need to replace the 4" lift TTB springs with 6" 78-79 springs to put the rig as designed. (thinking of the super flex from bronco graveyard, any other suggestions?)

Next i will get it running again, then i will work on the front end.
(clean up all of the things I rushed through when i first did the 60 swap)

those deaver springs are super flexy, ive actually seen the front end of a couple 78-79 broncos lift up on the springs when you mash on the gas pedal hard, kind of like a monster truck, so they should be super soft.

Alright I drove the buggy outside of the shop, does pretty ok.

The rear end does not flex, no weight and TTB springs makes no flex.

awsome rig. When you cut the body off how did you do it? did you just cut the floor and lift the body or take it off and cut what you wanted then reatach it to the frame?

I may of missed it, why did you decide to do it to your Bronco? It looked to be pretty good shape. You have done a killer job. How did you bend your tubing?
