i'm not allowed to wheel on the family 700 acre airport near mccomb Ms. till the hunting seasons are done with, the guy with the lease was a little irritated:twak so i need a place to wheel other than the school parking lots, preferably no more than an hour from BTR

yooo john. well i know there is nothing in the BR area worth riding but i know if you join the louisiana 4x4 club they always do rides in st. francisville. but of cource not during dear seasion. just go to la4x4.com if you havnt already been there. good luck. now that im up in ruston la. the orv park in gilmer tx. is only 2.5 hours away and the superlift orv park in ar. is only 3 or so hours away. ive been to both since this summer. they are a lot of fun.

Actually, no you won't. I have been on two rides with the la4x4 guys and it included everything from tube buggies to stock heeps and others. I have a 3" bl and 35's keep up pretty easily. This is all local stuff, not gilmer or superlift, but private land that the club has access to.
Also, check out delta4x4club.com. These guys are trying to get some rides together. It looks like they may have a few next year.
