my brother is a certified airplane mechanic that works for skywest in Springs. he has built some mean engines on the side. if you buy all the parts i'm sure he could build you a bad ass motor. or as tough as you prefer. i'll see if he has an open spot soon.

I'd appreciate that. I'd be pretty confident with a motor built by someone who works on airplanes. You can't have anything go wrong at 15,000'.

Lees auto machine shop is really cheap on prices I'm in the process of rebuilding and I'm using them to do my valve job and bore my engine.

Blue Oval Performance in Englewood Colorado is well worth the drive. I know it is not in the Springs but you owe it to yourself to check it out. It really comes down to how much you want to spend, a motor built by Blue Oval will be incredible but you will pay.
