B-man 12-03-2003, 11:39 AM Gonna be hittin up Gorman with a buddy of mine soon.. Maybe this weekend..12/6. HOpin for some rain. That is a BIG hope in Cali.. Around my town. The sob's are just building everywhere, taking away all the land.. It sucks.. locopny 12-03-2003, 11:03 PM Originally posted by RobertF Aren't there some wheeling areas up in Frazier park past Gorman? Off the exit where the Flying J is? yeah. about the only thing I know about that way (worth doing)is the Lockwood creek trail. Exit I-5 at Lebec (Flying J) head toward Fraiser Park. Take the Lockwood turnoff. past the ranger station a ways is a turnoff (marked the last time). starts off as a graded road but turns to a short hill climb/rock outcropping fun trip. will take you all the way to hungry valley SRVA/Alamo Mtn campground. easy day trip. couple deadend side trips available also (locker required &/or High clearence) |
