It would be nice and clean if you were going coil overs

I was thinking of making something similar to the dodge ram buckets, with the shock through coil

yeah those are nice but for the cost I will stick to my 78 coil buckets and $10 F250 shock mounts

I was asked to post in this older thread .....

Unfortunately we don't build those anymore. It's been about 4 years since we have. I had them on a F-150 I had and they worked out great. Any fab shop could replicate something pretty easily though.

Bummer Camburg doesn't make them any more. I would definitely picked up a set. Check out Autofab.com they still have coil buckets.

The ones pictured on that link look a little more simple, but I was quoted $1650 for the buckets/hoops in this pic http://autofab.com/16lift.htm

$1,650.00???? Damn that doesn't sound right. I don't think they are that pricey. I believe BrokenBronoco (member) is selling a Camburg coil bucket set up.

Yep. Works great. Just had to change from a top post mount to stud mount to clear the coil.
Drilled a hole in the shock tower at the top. Done.
