its about time i came across this place I stumbled across my 1st 1979 bronco while i was in the marines but due to travel arrangements i had to practicaly give it away and i have been sick ever since until recently i ws at a friends house and what did he have stashed away in the back yard covered in leaves and tree sap a black 1979 custon xlt bronco with a freshley rebuilt 351m and no interior so after talking to him about it and i quote he said "that old thing if you get it out of my yard you can have it " now I know what you are thinking b*&LSH!@ but thats what I thought. but shure enough! but getting it home 65 miles with no brakes and a burnt p/s pump and no trailer was payment enough. oh and did i mention i got a spare set of bfg 33x15. When I was almost to the house the left rear axle seal burnt up so i had to call in for ground support. and after alot of wiring repairs, and other repairs i.e water pump brake booster, axle heater core and much more she is a mean muddin machine that me and my family enjoy taking to the local mudhole. I am about to embark on a frame off restoration any advice on linexing the frame.
