Eliectrical connections, liquid tape, tape, and wire loom $ 15
4 pin and bushing kits $20 total. you do need 4 more bushings to make it so each door is setupo, so save 2 if they are good, otherwise you need 2 more pin and bushing kits.

Exactly what Im planning, my doors are thrashed anyway. Use a torch or sawzall?

I used a air powered cut off wheel but I think a sawzall would do better long blade and cut through both sides at once

i just sawzalled mine. kind hard because the sheetmetal starts to shake with the blade and very little cutting happens.

I used a cutting blade in my skilsaw - 7 bucks at fredmeyer. And that's exactly how I plan on finishing my doors - just rivet a 'cover skin' on it....might even add a drink holder :mrgreen:
