Well, I have Spring Fever, can't wait for it to get here. And with Spring comes the opening of trails and the melting of snow. So with that being said who wants to go wheeling? Don't have my mind made up on trail or day, lets just see what is best for everyone here.

Hell, ,you're in Ft. Fun, why not just head up to Sevenmile before they close it for runoff? I'm hoping to put together a run there sometime in March to run deep snow.

Most trails local to Ft Collins won't open until May if they're closed now.

I've ran sevenmile in my 96, which is pretty much stock except for some tiny 31's. I have done it three times...twice in the winter and once during spring. You can definitely do it in a stock bronco. The only damage to my rig was smashing the two dual exhaust pipes closed on a rock...and that was just because I got too confident. Although, I wonder what kind of condition the trail would be in after the blizzard, and if a stock rig could make it now...here are a few pics.

There was actually a few pretty deep river crossings. Luckily, they weren't solid ice, so I had no trouble. Last time I went up during the winter, someone had dug out the river after it turned to solid ice. The hole was about 2 feet deep and I couldn't make it threw it.

After you are on the trail for a short time...You will find a fork. The first time I went to the left...and the second I went to the right. I think the trail to the right was a bit more difficult for a stock truck. Luckily, with the short wheel base of the bronco, I made it all the way up...but barely. My friend in his 99 dodge ram couldn't make it up due to his long wheel base. Here are a few more pics of the second trip

I'm up for anything. Been thinking of running eagle rock. Looks like a fun trail. Carnage is open also.

Wow, that is kind of sad. The trail is rated a 3 and even 2 by some, it all depends on what line you take. I did a 4 with no problems in the BKO. One guy I know of went through with a stock Sami on 30s without a hitch...

Not sure if left hand canyon is the trail i am thinking about...is it right outside Boulder? If it is the trail I am thinking of, then I have done it in my bronco...during the summer. The beginning of the trail was a piece of cake, and I had no trouble with my pretty much stock bronco. About halfway up the trail you finally find a fork in the road. My friend in his 99 dodge ram and I took what we thought and read (off the map) was the easiest of the three choices. It started out pretty easy...but then it got pretty difficult for stock rigs. Very narrow trail, with a lot of rocks and trees and no where to turn around. Most of what I remember is my girlfriend and her friend getting out of the truck and walking the trail to the bottom....and having to get weight on the back tires alot so they wouldn't lift up off the ground. It was probably the most difficult trail I have done in my bronco...but it was a lot of fun. with good spoting and time I came out with no damage...except some scratches in the paint.

Oh, and I can't go this sunday because I work....sorry. But if you go good luck and take some pics.
