As per the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The first page is OK...I think Nirvana, and Pearl Jam could've been further down the list. That's just b/c I hate both of them:thumbup

I didnt see The Wall in there? :shrug

Multiple Metallica & Zeppelin cds, which i expected. Lots of stuff i didnt expect to see, nor would i EVER listen to. They absolutely should have put Far Beyond Driven by Pantera on that list, any cd that can hit #1 on the billboards with no radio play, singles, or music videos deserves to be on there.

I think their definition as 'rock' is about 10 years behind the times anyway. And i agree with ya Derrick, especially on the Pearl Jam part, they fawkin suck. I dont really like Nirvana either, but they practically invented the grunge genre, so id let them slide. I just hate it when people talk about them, or the whopping 5 songs of theirs that they actually play on the radio.

I don't agree with the list. Any album that came out in the last say 15 years is too new to even be considered for a hall of fame list, IMO.

Sorry dsotmoon, an album hasn't been or ever will be recorded that will rival Sgt. peppers importance in music history.

I love The Wall just as much as the next guy, but I've always been a bigger fan of Wish You Were Here, and Animals.

Pearl Jam would be alright if you could understand a thing that they were saying.

I thought the list was moderately on track with what I would have guessed. I definatley would have put the Beetles at #1. I would have though Queen would have been pretty high on the list.

But WTF was Shania Twain doing so high on the ROCK AND ROLL 200?

Yeah, once you get past the first page, there are some pretty weird picks...
Kid Rock @ number 68?

Yes it is nice. i seen him last summer but had to work the event as security.:banghead It was a great show with a full moon to boot and when they released the pig(those that have see floyd know what i mean) it headed towards the moon, couldn't be planned any better. They even had a $2000.00 reward on the pig. This time my son and I are going, he's really excited about the whole thing.

I didn't spend that much when i seen the other 3 in 88 or 94 either
These are center stage 6 rows back.I bought them on ticketmaster's auction i wanted good seats as my son has poor vision and he's the only reason for going this time I was ready to spend $300.00 a seat. :thumbup It's not like Roger or Floyd will be touring anytime soon I'm actually surprised that Roger is going on tour again since his last show was October in Washington
