ok, so I get home today after along grueling day at the office doing CBTs.

My wife is sitting on the couch and tells me that she made me a special dinner and I ask her what it is. She tells me that it is in the oven. Me, being my hungry starved self, rushed to the oven and opened it. It is not hot and there is a single dinner roll sitting centered on the top shelf. :scratchhe

I am thinking what the fawk? All I am getting is a darn piece of bread. :madder

About 30 seconds of stunned silence passes and then I realize what is going on when I look at my wife and she has this huge sh*t eating grin on her face.

Yeah yeah, we are pregnant AGAIN! :shocked Ok now, my youngest is only 7 months old. :duh

I just need to behave myself and start being careful :doh0715: :hump

I am actually totally stoked and excited, I hope its another boy that would be awesome. :imp

We already have a name picked out Liam Joseph John Orzech :chili:

Might as well go 20. :thumbup I hit my 5 year mark next month. 3 of which was on AD (as a reservist) Been trying to go AD but damn force reduction wont let me over. AF can piss you off sometimes.

Boeing is always a good place to look. I know if you can stand Andrews, you can stand down here. Got a lot of good jobs. NASA, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Nothrop Grumman, etc etc etc etc (along with a few other similar companies). Or even as a goverment job on the Arsenal. All high paying.

Kids are great. As soon as they are old enough to walk, they are more than thrilled to go to the fridge and grab you a beer and if there is more than one child, they will fight for the opportunity to get you one. That is when you come forward as a responsable parent and let them take turns.
Last summer my kids got me tuned while I was cutting the lawn on my riding lawnmower, because they were bringing me a beer just over every 5 minutes.
Yup, you gotta love kids.

Went in for our initial ultrasound today. The baby has no heartbeat. According to measurements, he died about 1.5-2 weeks ago. We have decided to let it "pass" normally.

My wife is taking it really hard. Just keep her in your thoughts.

Thanks, that is all.

I'm sorry for your loss.

My wife and I lost a set of twins (we didn't know we had twins until we lost them). I know how hard it can be to deal with, especially for the women. My wife was really upset, depressed, pissed and all other emotions you can think of. She even blamed herself. It is hard but with time, it will get better.

I don't know about your wife but mine would keep saying that she is going through this alone and would get furious with me saying it doesn't bother me and I don't care (which wasn't true) and that I have know idea what she's going through (partially true, they were inside her, not me). It took all I had to keep from exploding on her. But we got through it.

One thing that helped my wife was the support she got from me and from a pregnancy website. That site also has a place for mothers who have lost a child. She joined the site while she was pregnant and moved over to the other board when we lost them from the advice of the members there. She could talk to others that had gone through and were going through the same thing.

Just hang in there. The wife and I will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers. If you think she might want the site info, let me know and I will get it for you.

Solid.

What makes it hard is to actually see the little guy and for the doctor to say, "I am sorry, but there is no heartbeat" your heart just drops to the floor and your stomach gets tied in knots. I wish I could be home with her right now, but my boss will not give me the day off. So a little pissed about that.

Your boss is a F@cking prick. Tell him I said that too. Hell, give me the number and I'll tell him myself. You should be home with your wife.

Sorry.

Thanks for all the inputs guys! On a bright note, the wife is pregnant again, if IIRC she is 11 weeks now, we had an ultrasound last week and the heatbeat was good and strong so looks like its going to work this time. Still another week or two of worrying but otherwise we should be ok.

Keep your fingers crossed!
