No pics yet (They're still on some bfg rubber I'm tryin to sell off for spares) but I bought some new wheels for the truck. Problem is, they didn't come with hub caps. Now, I really like the ones that are on the truck now (Stockers with the black center in the rear tires). I would use them, but I'd have to drill and tap holes into the new wheels to make them work.

So I've got two options. I can get new hub caps...(which I really don't want to do, since most of the ones I've seen are pretty fugly) or I can tap and drill the wheels and use my old hubbies on em.

Do you think drilling into the wheel will pretty much put the resale value to Zero? Is there something else I can do to keep the caps on the wheels without the screws (short of hot-gluing it on..)

What caps do you use on your aftermarket wheels, where did you get them and what would you say your overall opinion on their looks are?

I'm goin to the ol' junk yard later today to scope out to see if I can find some alright looking ones to put on there, I tried ebay but all I can find is shit for either jags and Cadillacs or those ugly ass walmart spinner wheel covers

What kind of wheels did you get? I got some cragar and bought the center caps off of ebay as opposed to summit. on summit they would have been liek 60 bucks shipped. i paid 32 to my door for all four of mine.

Well I searched for center cap on ebay, I dunno why I put hubcap....maybe cause they cover the hubs...I dunno.

Anyway, Yeah i'm pretty sure they are Cragar, they look just like this (http://www.acmejeepparts.com/products/92600_0XX_PG.htm)

I'm ebaying Cragar right now (didn't think to do a brand search), I'll see what I can come up with.

I'm thinking now they're Eagle, not Cragar. (Damn, $40+ shipping for used centercaps?)

Summit seems to have the best deal on eagle caps. I really don't like em but I guess they'll work.

Why don't you keep them? Are they tires bad? I'm just curious, you're far too far to even think about. Plus, I'm trying to get RID of mine...

No the tires are good for spares, I really don't need them though. I want to make some extra coin from the tires so I can put that little bit towards my new ones.

(the wheels are mine, I ain't sellin those, dunno if you meant that I keep the tires or the wheels)
