i bought a front locker from porc on ebay. i purchased it with buy it now . i immediately paid them through paypal. this was on a sat. next thurs. i didnt have my locker yet and i knew they were only 2 states away . so i called them . they told me that they did not have it in stock and that it was on backorder. i asked him why he sold stuff on ebay with buy it now and didnt even have it to sell. he fed me a bunch of bs . the next day i called them back and told them i wanted a refund. he said he would do it then or the next day. 3 days later i still didnt have my money back so i opened a dispute through paypal. later that day i got my refund minus $12.00 in paypal fees that he was charged. and he refunded my money through paypal so i got hit again with another fee of $12.00 so i lost $24.00 altogether. ok so a few days later a fedex truck pulls up in my drive and hands me a box. it was a front locker from porc. so i do the right thing and call them and tell them that they had refunded my money and still sent me the locker. i could have easily kept it but i believe in being fair and honest. the mother f!!!er didnt even thank me for letting them know. they sent me a call tag for it and i have to take it to the nearest fedex and drop it off. that is bs if you ask me. i live in the country there are no fedex anywhere near here. diesel just went up to $2.88 a gallon . why should i buy it now , not get it, get ripped $24.00 on paypal fees , then get it, and then have to run out my damn fuel going to a fedex ? what gives ? im pissed. i might let it lay here until they call me back. here is a link to the listing

A buddy of mine used to buy from them all the time. I have seen him get burned BAD twice now by them. He swears they used to be a reputable company, but now they just suck. I wouldn't buy a single thing from them, even if they were the only place on earth that carried the one part I needed to finish a project. I'd just go ahead and let it sit.

dammit, I ordered 3 4"x30' straps, a lockright for my D44 and a mini spool for my 8.8 like 2 days ago.

You should tell them to drive out and get it, then set it by your gate and wait outside with a shotgun. Not completely sure why...I just like that mental image.

keep the ****er tell them you didnt get the ammount of money that it took in your time to deal with them and they lost out because your time is worth more than there locker

if they sent you a call tag, you can call fed ex to come and pick it up from your house, there is no need to go drive someplace to drop it off. when you get the call tag, just call 800 Go Fedex or whatever that number is, and schedule the pickup.

also, i would call porc and tell them there is going to be a $24 "handling charge" on your end to deal with all this, and if they don't credit your paypal account you will not be sending their package back.

oh yeah, i'd also send porc a nice email with a note stating that you just gave them a nice review on a website with 10,000+ members. whenever i get hosed by some company selling parts, i do that and i seem to get better service.

The $24 handling fee does sound applicable in this situation & having Fed-Ex pick it up AFTER recieving the $24 & ONLY then.
