Trigger is my 89 F-150 in my sig. It's been in my family for the past 7 or 8 years and in my posession for the past four years. It's been my DD / tow rig and the family's general work truck during that time and it has rarely ever let us down, which explains why I like it so much:toothless . This truck has done jobs and pulled loads that it probably shouldn't have done in all of those years and it saved my life (in a way) once:rockon .
I don't ever want to get rid of this truck and after college, I'm planning on buying it back from my family and converting it into a DD, weekend warrior, work truck, and tow rig with a 4x4 conversion and make it barely tall enough to clear 37-38" tires. I just thought I'd share some thoughts, news, and pics of my truck, I'll shut up now:brownbag .

Mind if I use your tranny indicator display in the tranny info page? You do have a C6, btw.

Sure, and thanks for the info.
Here's a few more pics and stories.
It rolled over 100K while I was running around from town to town here picking up and running animals to some friend's houses from the livestock sale that we had today. During the trips, I realized just how much this truck has been through and how well it has held together. It tooled down the highway with the stock trailer loaded with pigs at a steady 55 with no lack of power and the only reason that I went that speed was to keep from hurting the pigs. Then I ran a friend back to his town with just the cage in the bed and no trailer at 65 with one instance when I went 70 just to show him that the truck could do it:toothless .
This is the stock trailer that I pull with a steer loaded up.

I've used the truck as a tool for pulling and removing many items in the past. Here I was pulling a car off of a J-truck cab so I could go scrounging for parts. I've also flipped the orange and white van in the background with Trigger to get the rear axle out. (we did throw a floor mat over the rope after the pic. was taken)

This past winter, we had a huge snow and ice storm that knocked down tree branches everywhere. A friend and I ran all around town pulling branches to the street for the city crews to pick up, we did most by hand and used Trigger for the big ones. Unfortunately, my back was screwed up the next day from all of the work and I still had to remove the branches at my house, so I had to do all of the manual work with Trigger.

At that same spot where the J-truck was in the junkyard, this incident happened where I believe my truck was essential for my safety.

I'm looking forward to many more thousands of miles of reliable service out of this truck, the engine has around 20,000 miles on it and it runs beautifully. The only worry that I have with this truck is the tranny that has never been rebuilt to my knowledge. And surprizingly enough, this truck has never had to be trailered to my knowledge because of any problems, it always manages to limp home or to a shop under its own power. Thanks for reading, this truck has inspired a whole lot of trust in me towards Fords.
