Just joined the forum a few weeks back. I finally got a chance to post something. I just finished moving. A few months ago I purchased my first Bronco. It is a 1990 XLT with a 5.0, AOD, lift kit and 33" BFG's. I picked it up fairly cheap, a friend owned it had been having problems with it and wanted to get rid of it. It had some serious electrical problems and the usual neglect from 17 years of use. My friend wasn't mechanically inclined and didn't have time or ability to fix it. He had only owned the Bronco a short time, and had bought it on a whim. In the last few months I have sorted out the electrical problems and am extremely happy. This is my first Ford, and first 4 wheel drive, and I have no regrets, I think I am hooked. Allways had GM products through the years. Runs pretty good, only problem is a have a main seal leak. In the future I plan on building a 351W stoker. The trans and differential have been recently rebuilt, so I am good to go there. I have been spending quite a bit of time familiarizing myself with the the EEC IV computer and fuel injection system to use so I will know what mods to make for my future engine. Love the forum.
