Nice camera. I've got a Minolta Maxxum 5. I wanted to upgrade to the digital SLR, but Minolta went out of business. Sony took them over. Minolta lenses will work, but I have a strong distaste for Sony.

I can understand that. I was waiting to see what sony did with minolta last year before i bought my Digital SLR. I'm just happy they kept on the same engineers and lens mount. I'm just hoping there new cameras are as easy to use as my 7D with dials instead of searching threw menus on a screen.

I'll probably break down and go with a Sony digital SLR. I've got a few Minolta lenses that I don't want to go to waste.
