If any of you want to get involved with desert racing, here'e a great way to do it! MDR is in need of volunteers, duties include course marking, working contingency, road crossings, rovers, etc... the next race is a big one, and volunteers are badly needed!

I am not able to go, I am recovering from surgery but I am interested in future races and have a buddy here that is also on board. Just post whenever you have an upcoming need, give me as much lead time as possible.

I had my 4yr old girl and 9yr old boy at the Barstow race. They did well considering it was an 8hr day at the dusty road crossing with nothing to do. I have to admit I was nervous about them running in front of a car, but they kept busy playing.
