Of course I am planning to still paint it when enough funds come available, then finish pulling the carpet, and clean it up some to help try to sell it.

yes and no. More of life. The truck just sits besides the once every couple months I drive it to work. It is in the way. And I feel its life is being wasted in my hands. I thought Ian didn't wheel.

Also, if I get my asking price I have big plans with the cash.

My ranger has slowly pulled my attention from the bronco over the past few months. I have done more and more with it then I even look at the bronco. So I would like to order the drop kit for the ranger, then either A) pay off a loan/debt or B) buy stuff for the baby that is due in November. Either way, it will help when the kid is born. So it is more of I would like to have the extra money then I dont want the truck. Yeah I can just park it, like it has, but the cash now would sure help out a lot.

so does this mean your leaving FSB?

Can I have your room here?

I don't think it is fair for you to jump ship like this and then have the power to see our lives here. You will not be among the Bronco Elite, that most enviable and honored of positions, anymore. You will just be like all the rest.

drop kit?

For my 2wd ranger, a 3/4 DJM lowering kit with Drop I-beams for the front and flip kit on the rear giving a total of 3" drop to the front and 4" to the rear. Will run about 350 bucks....Stupid I-beams, why couldn't I have gotten a 98+ that I could coil drop. for half the price.

Ya I love my 99. But A-Arm lifts are expensive. In the process of my fabtech lift.

man you can get DJM drop kits for a 98+ for 150. Especially if you got a V6, know that from searching for the buddy with the 01 I mentioned in your spare key thread over on RPS.

Ain't that sad. If you really want to sell it you will be happy its gone. I know exactally how you feel. I tried to sell my F150, then I decided not too after I figured out what my problem was. Maybe you will do the same thing too.

Goot luck selling it. I just hope for your sake you don't end up regretting it. You put a lot into that bronco. I know many people who have sold vehicles that they have put so much into & ended up regretting it for a long time after.

It's not sad 'til it actually sells.
A for sale sign in a bronco doesnt mean much these days. There are a ton of regulars on here who are selling their rigs. I can only think of one person(Tommy-R), who was actually able to sell it.
Gas guzzlers arent high on anyone's list right now.

It sux that it's got to this point with your rig, but the sign in the window isnt a guaranteed sell.

If it sits around some more, maybe you'll fall back in love with it.

I hope you're able to get rid of it...Especially with the baby on the way.

what is this a new fad or something ?

no, its just that times change, finances change, vehicle needs change, your life changes...... ect.
Once something is not used anymore or doesn't fit in to your lifestyle at the current time sometimes selling it is the best thing to do.

Its just a car anyways....

If it sells, as it drives off, Ill start regretting it. Just like with my old Maverick. But the regret will come from the fact that I know it isn't costing me money unless I want it to. If it sits parked, no money for parts is being spent. I took it off the insurance a few months ago, so it doesn't cost money. The regret that I would rather have the money over the truck is what will make me regret it. But as mike said, times change, life changes, etc. What will help is the fact I know it will go for the better, plus it might actually get used.

Maybe I will. I guess that is the best way to describe my initial thoughts of selling it. I just don't care for it as I once did. One of those hobbies I dont feel like I am making any progress in anymore.

Mike I am never happy when I sell just about anything. Just like when I sold my AR-15. Did it for a quick buck. I know I should change my thinking on somethings, cause I tell people anything of mine is for sale for the right price. Cant regret selling everything.
