It was great to meet all of you. So many variations on approach to building up a Bronco. I got some great ideas. The wheelin' was a kick too! Someday I'll have mine finished up and locked up in front, and I'll get to mosey on up those notches. Did I say 'finished up'? Who am I kidding!

Here are some pics-

Sorry I didn't get shots of everybody's rigs. I meant to, but, had my boy to keep track of. I'm hoping everyone else will post up their pics too.

Where are the 79/79 action shots?! Well, Filly was having some issues with her new mill heating up a bit and some kind of pop in her driveline, so she didn't try out the rocks. Seve had all new drivetrain and motor and was using a front driveshaft in the rear, so he was not up for any serious rock crawling. ShizzK9 popped his front ring gear or something, so he was out of the running too. If Blushrk ran the rocks I missed it, dangit. I ran some mild lines up the rocks, but obviously, unless someone else got pictures of it, I sure didn't!

I think everyone had a good time. GKR and Meixter went off and ran Shoestring when the rest of us went back to camp on Saturday. Seven hours later they returned with the scars to prove it!

Maybe next time around there will be more 78/79 action on the rocks. This weekend inspired me, and soon I'll be getting a TrueTrac up front, putting in a cage, and porting my exhaust pipes out the rear fenders. With all that stuff done, I'll be willing to give the notches a go.

Thanks to all the folks that made it up to this run. We gotta do this sort of thing once a year at least! We missed you up there Hoss! You would have been a lot better trail guide than I was! I hope you're doing OK.

Those are all some great pics. Whose is this green bronco:

And out of all of them, I think this is the coolest:

Glad you like 'em Joe.

That green Bronc is Seve's. He's a professional fabricator and has done an amazing amount of absolutely cherry custom work on it. The guy knows metal. We were all drooling over the thing!

The silhouette shot is my boy at the campfire. Them's some good memories! We had a great time together.

Great pics Screamin"! We had a great time. Got back early enough to unload and clean up the trailer for next time. I watched you take that pic of "T". It turned out very cool. Good to meet ya all and hope to hook up again soon.

Where are the 79/79 action shots?! Screamin' :thumbup

Mine wasn't capable enough for the rocks. I think it's cuz all the newer ones have the front diff locked along with the rear. Great pics everybody! :thumbup

Yes, the bumper is 'homemade'! It may also be for sale, as I want to build a little bit of a different one. I'll keep you posted if you're interested.
