For those of you considering coilovers, here's soemthing to play with.
By popular request, we've updated our spring rate calculator to include adjustable droop numbers.
We've tried to keep it as simple as possible. I know many people don't want to mess with spring rate calc. due to them being hard to understand. Read the "How to use the Calculator" for more info. Try it out!

That's a great calculator. I like the simplicity. Do you use a calculator that correlates the spring rates with the valving? (forgive my ignorance) For instance, I would like to set up my Class 3 with the lowest functional CG, which would mean a higher droop percentage and possibly custom valving curves to prevent harsh bottoming. Is that a situation/set-up you commonly work with, or am I piss'n in the wind?

Yea, we could do that. The thing you want to watch for is how low you REALLY plan to run the thing at ride height. If the shocks have to be valved to be really firm near the end, and you are running 80% droop....it's gonna be a rough ride for the most part. I'de rather have a higher CG and a smoother riding vehicle. Less beating for everyone...truck and passengers.
