History
I have owned this bronco for 10yrs now. Previous 88 bronco was rolled and later scrapped.
Since owning this Bronco I have worked to get it reliable on and off road. the motor has been rebuilt twice due to a bearing failure on the bottom end. Stock roller cam with edelbrock efi truck intake, JBA shorty headers and custom y pipe with 3" exhaust running a hi flow cat.
Been running 35's since day one, with a 6" procomp stage 2 lift that was swapped over from the previous rolled 88 bronco. 4.88 gears were installed front and rear and after a period of time went with an aussie locker up front. the rear diff is still open. I have custom sliders that got purchased from this site 6yrs ago. The front bumper was built by a local fabricator and has been great to keep the front protected.
My WARN hs9500 was rebuilt by WARN several years ago as well is still going strong.
After several years of dealing with the poor steering I finally broke down and purchased a Red-Head steering and tie-rod flip.
