I've heard of winter fest that is put on by a 4x4 club locally . Is anyone interested in doing a Big Bronco gathering in Grass Valley Ca? Not so much an expedition, I've never seen a parking lot full of them. Im not in any club but a group/club of Bronco owners would be an event I myself would go check out for the wow factor at least to us Ford Guys n Ladies . Thanks for any input !
Yeah I don't know how many are local And that is a drive. The rubicon is about 1 1/2 hours from here and I see lots of crawlers but not many Big Broncos That's why I put it out there .No NFL or NASCAR that weekend .
Grass Valley is way out there! I wanna say theres a few people in the Sac area with FSB's and theres quite a few of us in the bay area. We go wheeling on the rubicon at least once every summer with a few FSB's. Honestly in you're area though you're gonna find a lot more wheelers with toyotas, jeeps and the like, its just whats common in the sierras, as you've said thats the predominate vehicle on the rubicon.
I'm thinking maybe a swap meet type deal would gain more interest after winter ? I'm near Rollins lake / campground and there are local trails and the Empire Gold Mine And other historic places. A little feedback ? 300 have taken a peek
I'm always up for some full size action. There are alot of Toyotas and jeeps around Modesto too. I feel like the anchor when it comes time to pull them out
by the way there is a Ford show in May at Knotts berry... thinking i might make the cruise down from nor cal with a few mustangs and another bronco. if anyone is interesting i can post the link!
Knotts sounds fun except the getting there by 10 and staying till 3 from what I read .
6.5 hours one way . Would be tough with the kids having school the next day. I guess well see how high fuel gets by then:beer
you have to register ahead of time if you want your rig in the show, the spots do fill up, I already got mine :toothless
