Ever find anything "unusual" while wheeling?

Every now and then we stumble upon something cool/unusual, like old cars and neat stuff that you find in the strangest places. I found a abandoned FJ40 Land cruiser in the woods one time. It was quite rusty and had been there for awhile, apparently it got stuck and the owners just walked away and left it. Share yours.

Wow Idk were to start. Once I found a cherokee and an exploder with a 6" lift both stuck in the same creek, river, stream type thing. The cherokee was flipped on its side in between to concrete slabs that were at one point in time a bridge i would assume and It looked like the person driver had a "hold my beer" moment and they tried to jump it. The explorer was in a deeper more smooshy area and in the end we ended up flipping it on to its roof to get the shocks for my fathers jeep (he was in the middle of doing a lift kit and instead of spending extra money we decided to use it as a salvage vehicle) but anyway we flipped it using man power and a come along, it took 2 hours and a lot of pushing and yanking to get it over but we sure did it. I think i have pics somewhere...
Before we got to far along... thats my dad, second cousin and my dads gf on the far left oh yeah and that log is in fact the only thing keeping it upright like that.

Here it is halfway over

Theres me standing on it completed fliped posing and making funny faces (holy crap I still had long hair)

Bunch of drunk rednecks having a good time after a long days work (from left to right My dad, second cousin, cousin, the girl i was dating at the time and then my dads gf)

And i've also come across a 92-96 style barried to the top of the wheel wells on some local trails.

I found a .30-30 once...called in the police for that one. I also found a tool box with some tools in it at one of my campsites, but I kept that for me.

Around my area of town there are 3 kinds of people that wheel:
1:The ones trying to get rid of a stolen
2:The kind that get drunk on the trails and just dont care
3:The normal kind of wheeler that dont care as long as they can get the rig home

I think its safe to assume it was not #3

Well I like to look at it as salvaging, cuz to be honest when we found it A. It was close to state property and the only way you could pull it out would be to go through state property to get to the front of it, so really there was no way the owner would get it back (not to mention a week after we got the parts we watched as both the explorer and the cherokee were dragged to a wrecker through the state property by a local FD Brush Truck which was rather amusing) and B. It had already been well "attacked" and was missing the wheels, tires, seats and a couple other things (the vin plate was chiseled off and the sticker on the door jam was scratched off so Im led to believe it was the owner that got it stuck).

I know stealing is wrong, Im pretty sure everybody knows that (at least I like to assume everybody does) but if a vehicle is abandoned and has already been vandilized salvaging the parts so they dont go to waste seems like a good reason to take them...

Found items should be turned over to the police then after time . Usualy 30 days you can claim the property. Otherwise it is theft. No amount of "reasoning" can change that. Not that I care.

Most often.

I've found lots of trashed rigs and have pulled them out with my club after the sheriff first then forest service both gave us the A-OK.
