iTrader: (0) Bronco Info: 1990 Ford Bronco II 4x4
|
hey all. I just purchased a 1990 Ford Bronco II 4x4 because I grew tired of riding my motorcycle all year...bbbrrrrrrrrrr.
I'm sure a lot of ppl on here are all about hooking up their ride and stuff and that's cool...but I'm here just for the general basics....I purchased it for only $685. It's actually not bad - just having some issues with the brakes (grinding sound and spongy feeling in the pedal) and the e-brake doesn't seem to be functioning as the e-brake light doesn't come on when the e-brake is engaged. The wiring behind the pedal and fuse box seems to be in order and is very clean actually - so I'm not sure where else to check. The brakes do work though, I drove it home when I bought it - but there is a grinding sound when the brakes are applied and you can still hear it when they aren't applied. From some regular google searching, I've found out that it seems these trucks have issues with wheel cylinders - which I've read to be a very intricate part of the braking system and can cause some of the issues I'm experiencing. I'll probably just be posting up and asking a bunch of NOOB questions so in advance haha or be using the hell out of the search feature ![]() Here she is ![]() ![]() ![]() |

First welcome to the site from another person in Manassas - nice looking Duece!
However you're probably not going to get much help here or much tech that applies to your Bronco. This is a Full Size Bronco site - for big Broncos 78-96. You'll be better off looking for a Bronco II, Ranger or Explorer site. Nothing on a stock FSB is common with a BII - except maybe some dash knobs! Good luck! ![]()

You are still more than welcome to hang out and post here. You might just be able to find some stuff better for your BII on another site.
