'95 bronco Dana 60 SAS and 10.25 Sterling Swap.

Been working on this for a while now, almost done, currently waiting on High Steer Crossover kit from SKY, and some extended Brake Lines.

So far,Here's what we got:

'95 Bronco, came to me with a 3" body lift.

10.25 Sterling from a '93 F350
SKY Rear Shackle Flip Kit.
Heavy Duty Diff cover from GLO
Rear Driveshaft shortened by Cosimo at Clutch & Driveshaft here in Shreveport.
Have the beginnings of rear disc conversion, but haven' gotten around to it.

Dana 60 Kingpin from a different '93 F350, came to me complete with Springs and steering.
Reverse Shackle Kit from SKY, 5" lift version.
Home made rear shackle hangers for front springs.
Front Driveshaft will be receiving a double cardan treatment and length will be adjusted accordingly, also by Clutch & Driveshaft.

37x13.50 Dick Cepek Mud Country's on 18x10 Mickey Thompson Classic II's with simulated beadlocks. Didn't go with the sim'd beadlocks for looks, went with them so that when I smack the rims on something, hopefully I will only have to replace the fake beadlock, not the whole rim.

Many, Many more things to come. For now here are some pics:

Yes I know it's a facebook link, and not superford or supermotors, but I really don't feel like creating another photo album.

I had to do the same thing. Someone had made their own bumper lift.

Nice build. You truck looks too nice to take out and wheel hard. Also, according to the bible, '93 was balljoint.

Bible or no bible, I have a stout kingpin, as the pics show. as for it lookin "too nice", trust me, it's gonna get spanked like a 12 year old labradoodle that cant handle a light whippin.

According to some friends that are in the HD bizz, the balljoint dana 60 was in lots of trucks around the '93 era. But the kingpin 60 was maybe an option? Or maybe used in certain f350's from different factories? All i can say is that my axles are '93 models, and the front is a kingpin.

what's a labradoddle? I don't care what year it is. Just wanted to let you know that you may have some bad info. I like the rear spring hangers you made. Very nice. I took the easy way out and bought mine.

How do you know your front axle is a '93 models? In 1993, they put balljoint 60's in Fords. That's it, that's how it is. Just cause your axle was under a '93, it doesn't mean that the truck originally came with that axle. Nobody is denying that it's a kingpin axle, that's pretty clear (in the pic I'm posting below). We're just iffy as to the fact that the axle was under a '93.

P.S. I'm looking forward to seeing this truck getting "spanked".

So now I'm determined o figure out what year this axle is. The letters n the cast housing read "620093R" and the letters on the passenger side axle tube read "3 05 928C". Any ideas?

Good looking swap you got going there. That was originally the direction I was going to go in (60 front 70 or sterling rear), then I found the Rockwells, the pair of them, plus wheels/ tires & driveshafts for the same money that people wanted just for a 60 front.

Keep up the good work

looking good. I was going to use those same springs but I thought they'd be too stiff.

Your bronco would look awesome with some custom bumpers and sliders (who's wouldn't).

You would be surprised at just how well those springs will do.

Nice truck buddy!
I'm gathering parts for the same swap. I have a complete '89 350 but the front/rear spring hangers are shot and I'm trying hard to find some!

Try this. and this one
the first one is Adobe, so it might kill your computer. The second one is a Dana website, that will tell you anything and everything about that axle.

I tried looking for that number that you gave, but I didn't come up with anything. Are you sure you didnt look at it wrong? I don't have Facebook, so I can't see the pics.

Looking at he axle from he front of the truck, to the eft of the diff the numbers "3 05 92 8c" are stamped in. To thelower right of hose numbers there are some other numbers stamped into the tube, but they are virtualy unreadable. I'll try to clean them up later and see if I can get them.
