bassani- autoanything.com Sign up for their email offers and you can find coupon codes. Also google "autoanything coupon codes". Only the aluminimized y pipes were discontinued. They still sell stainless steel.

It has been the general consensus around here a dual exhaust is not the best setup if you do any offroading. If you are looking to save some $$ go with the proven single exhaust setup. You will not sacrifice any potential power gain with the single exhaust many have used here on this forum. As noted before the cheaper aluminized Bassani pipe is no longer produced, the stainless version is still available with and without a converter. Toss on a high flow cat if needed, a muffler of your choice and then a Maremont or Dynomax mandrel-bent 3" aluminized tailpipe. Looks through some of the threads for the details and sound clips.
FWIW I purchased most of my exhaust component from Wundercarparts.com, Summit and Magnaflow Planet. All three vendors provided excellent service and pricing. |

I'd find an exhaust shop close by that will work with you. I'd make sure its a fairly clean place, check out the owners ride and what it's exhaust is like, go over what type of bending they do, etc.
I'm a fan of keeping it local. I'm also a fan of dual exhaust. ![]() |

Depending on where you live keep your eyes open for the small local shop. They have the best prices and do the best work. I had a high flow cat put in with a single in dual out Full Boar muffler and all 3" pipe with 3.5" tips all done for $250. Thats with the cost of the cat and muffler and tips. All is fully welded.

Trying to snake a true dual exhaust around the transfer case and everything else underneath the truck can leave the pipes/muffler hanging too low for comfort when offroading. A good quality single 3" exhaust has been found to offer as much (if not more) performance gain as a dual. On a stock truck the biggest gain will be found from a high flow converter. Why spend more money for two of everything, figure out a good routing path when a single 3" is cheaper and easier.
Plenty of exhaust threads here on this very subject. |
