Lee's Dana 60

Ive been away lately with work and stuff but Ive still been trying to collect parts. Anyways, a few weeks ago i bought a balljoint 60 thinking thats what i was gonna use but after researching more i didnt like the idea of the cage weld on mounts and then having to use a spacer under the coil pad for it to clear the balljoint C's. I sold it then a couple nights ago i found i an 89 Dana 60. It was sandblasted, painted, tubes cleaned, kingpins, rotors, seals and bearings replaced. Ive been pretty patient but i think it paid off. It will probably be a little while before i get it regeared and put under the bronco but ill make sure and post all what i do.
I read in slim carters post about a different type of kingpin cap that doesn't use a spring. Can anyone explain exactly what the difference is? I also need to find some calipers. Ill get the dual piston ford ones. Im assuming cardone is probably the only way to go on these but are there any other remans that someone might know about?

Heres a couple pics.

yeah i thought it was pretty good deal. at first id been expecting to find one that needed a total rebuild but after finding this one i didnt mind paying a little more for alot of the work already being plus the money that he put into parts.

Thats actually a GREAT deal considering its already been rebuilt and all for you. With regards to calipers, any major parts store will have them, to include the bolt kits.

Looks good, really good.
